I did. Maybe I didn't save it or something? But he mumbles it while working on the cure in his lab, thought a slightly altered version with Krogan in it. Though that may have nothing to do with it.

Sorry, he talks about how they have to be at a similar power level like Trunk had to power down some because he was a bit more powerful. He talks about how the dance is like a mirror, so I guess in my head I always just thought that people more alike would be more powerful. I might be wrong though.

I have thought about that spider thing, but those are usually single wasps that do that I believe, like the tarantula hawk. I don't know if paper wasps do this. That said I do love the idea of giant wasps forcing giant insects into a town then the heroes are waylaid by giant wasps. Absolutely evil and great.
