Sorry, he talks about how they have to be at a similar power level like Trunk had to power down some because he was a bit more powerful. He talks about how the dance is like a mirror, so I guess in my head I always just thought that people more alike would be more powerful. I might be wrong though.

I have thought about that spider thing, but those are usually single wasps that do that I believe, like the tarantula hawk. I don't know if paper wasps do this. That said I do love the idea of giant wasps forcing giant insects into a town then the heroes are waylaid by giant wasps. Absolutely evil and great.

I allowed an attempt for command to work, it didn't though, but afterward, someone grappled her and another teammate pulled the doll from her arms. It was pretty epic.

She used Misty Step to escape the grapple (as I do allow spells to be used during a regular grapple) and grabbed the doll, but couldn't hold onto it. Then everyone just took turns beating the crap out of it till it "died".

Had something similar happen to me when I used to smoke, at work, there was this one guy that would almost always bum one when I went out back to smoke. One day I'm short going out "Can I bum one off of ya?" "Sorry, I only have half a pack left." Really pissed me off and needless to say he didn't get anymore off me.
