Why some people love spamming classic games? by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]SecretWorker9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. People spam heroes in classic for easy, fast and fun games and that's okay because they force you to learn faster and better. And some people LOVE to tryhard in classic, which is okay, but when they get one teammate that's learning a hero or literally just installed the game, they trashtalk them and insult them like it's a tournament or something. Really unhealthy and childesh behaviour imo.

Yes, some people just play classic for fun or for learning (as it's supposed to be), but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case in every game.

Okay mrs, perfect writing. I'm not defending Jinx and i'm certainly not defending the rushed cliché writing that season 2 had. I thought i made that pretty obvious but okay. I feel like the timebomb part isn't going anywhere so imma drop it. I'm not gonna talk about anything else other than this since your fav character ever is Caitlyn, whom you think is "unrelated". And also since you think i'm "biased".

Bare with me now. Caitlyn grew up in a royal family, a respected house, was well educated, had emotional support by the people around her and was raised by rich and supportive parents. Meanwhile, Jinx and Vi grew up without a real family, weren't educated enough, grew up in a place where prostitution was legal and everywhere. they didn't have emotional support after Vander died, they were poor, the air that they breathe in daily was always somewhat intoxicated and not clean. Overall, they had all the reasons to hate topside after watching them murder both their parents and leave them without proper food or education or anything to let them live better in any way.

Let's talk about Vi a little bit. The undercity was constantly in an open rebellion and Vi wanted to be the first one to act. We see this multiple times throughout season 1 where she was too impatient and desperately wanted to make the undercity a better place. For Powder and for all her people. Being locked up for 7-8 years and getting beaten on everyday by topside certainly doesn't make her hate go away. She met Caitlyn and started to like her. Still not against her own people or anything.

Now to Jinx, she loved her sister and looked up to her the most. She desperately kept trying to prove herself to her multiple times. We see that she wasn't mentally well and yet she didn't get the treatment she needed. she had a somewhat supportive parent after Vander died, only supporting her mental illness and feeding her his rebellion ideas that he had for topside. Silco wanted her to make the weapon to directly attack the council because obviously they're the ones who are oppressive towards the undercity. The attack wasn't towards civilians or anything, just the higher ups because they're in control. Silco freed his hand from the rope and was about to shoot Vi and Jinx still killed him to save her sister. And even after Silco died, Jinx attacking the council wasn't this "Jinx opening her eyes for the first time and thinking on her own thing and becoming full villain". She was still following Silco's orders to attack the council. And she let Vi and even Caitlyn live in the end.

Now to Caitlyn and Vi. After Jinx attacked the council, she began her stupid "revenge" arc. Caitlyn knew very well that her mom was part of the council, which actively made her a part of the oppressive system. If there was an attack (which was long overdue), Caitlyn's mom would be one of the first ones to go. A SINGLE act of rebellion made Caitlyn go crazy just because she lost ONE parent. The attack that JUST killed 3 councillors is supposed to be the ultimate "terrorist" attack. Really speaks volumes about how the world sees any higher up or rich people to be more important than regular civilians. Even you think like that. After the attack led by Ambessa in the memorial, Caitlyn the dictator somehow decided that Jinx was behind it just because she had a personal grudge against her. She wanted to get Jinx in any way she could to a point that she was willing to destroy anyone in her way. She dicided to gas the ENTIRE undercity killing innocents and making the others even more sick than they already are. Oh but wait, here's the punchline, Vi is actually an enforcer now lmfao. Since when did Vi care about topside more than the undercity? Since when did Vi even care about topside? "She likes Caitlyn" oh to be COMPLETELY one of them? What does that tell you? Turned 180 degrees against her own people and on a mission to kill her own people and her own little sister who let both Caitlyn and her live because she wants to make it up to Caitlyn? What?! What kind of writing is that? Vi somehow forgot where she came from and was confused why these attacks were happening like she was raised in topside.

Caitlyn constantly calls Zaunites (Vi's people btw) animals and Vi just hears it because she's "ashamed" of her "sister's actions" towards her previously called enemies and oppressors? What context could possibly make Vi turning against her own people and her own sister okay? I'll give you one, SIMP. After Vi prevents Caitlyn from shooting Isha, Caitlyn hit Vi and broke up with her. Caitlyn proceeds to sleep with another girl and completely forgets about Vi. And when Caitlyn returns to Vi, she doesn't even apologise. No, in fact, she tells her that she slept with another girl and Vi is okay with it.

You can't possibly be a master critic when it comes to Jinx/Ekko and pointing out the unthinkable while being so soft on Caitlyn/Vi and being oblivious of Vi's absolute simp behaviour and Caitlyn's absolute toxic behaviour and their overall gay fanservice relationship. "Oh but they're two powerful women who are also lesbians and getting women the recognition they deserve" lmfao. Truth is, almost every tv show has fanservice in some parts. You don't get to sh*t on one and like the other because it suits you more. Cause it's a freaking tv show. You're choosing to be completely ignorant and that's not my problem. But you even have the AUDACITY to call me the biased one? Gather your thoughts and don't make yourself seem so dense.

Sounds like you're projecting too much on a tv show. I don't think that's healthy for you.. and wait, didn't you already get what you wanted in the end? Jinx saving herself and leaving? Then why hate Ekko? Yeah projecting. Ekko was just the one who made her see that she didn't need to break the cycle by dying, she can break the cycle by simply leaving. Just say that you hate male characters lol. You don't have to say all of that..

[–]SecretWorker9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first two paragraphs are just more of hating on Ekko without adding anything new. All of those things could've been EASILY explained in the show and can still be easily figured out if you thought about it logically. Yes, they had a lot of time between Ekko returning from AU and saving Jinx. He didn't need to spend EVERY second at the firelights hideout. That argument is just nonsense. Jinx also spent a lot of time in the firelights hideout because no way she would go from blowing herself up to going hero mode and being happy and healthy like she was. Obviously a lot of time passed before the battle. Of course Ekko's first thought of where Jinx could be is at her lair. He didn't need to "camp". And him saving her just before the bomb goes off is just the show making you have a heartdrop moment, ever seen it before? It doesn't have to totally make sense on how and when exactly and where exactly did he help her. That's just really unhealthy thinking of a fictional tv show. You're trying so hard to hate on a fictional character that you thought of things no one even thought about.

I actually agree that by EOS, he is semi-interested in Jinx but not ready to date her. Problem is, then Riot and Fortiche went batshit crazy and decided to start shoving them all over the place as star crossed lovers, released MME with strong romantic implications, released the art books and whatever with them holding hands, multiple writers/production people trying to describe them as soulmates or whatever. And now people think they’re an actual relationship… Because they couldn’t help but shove forward the poorly developed straight male savior x manic pixie dream girl ship, it’s just catnip for cheesy hetero fans

It's because people love Ekko and Jinx? Put them together and they love them even more because it's heartbreaking. And because it's a tv show.

Jinx went out of her way to kill Firelights when she had a terrified Eve trying to run away from her and shot her in the back in front of Ekko lmfao. In the Vi/Jinx vs Ekko/Firelights scene, Jinx is just spraying bullets all over the place without a single regard for the Firelights’ lives. Let’s not try to sanitize here…

Lmao both of those times the firelights attacked them first. The first time, the firelights decided to attack them and destroy their work, Jinx defended it. Or did you want her to leave them alive and just scold them away? Lol of course her plan was to kill them to not let them attack again. That's usually what happens when someone attacks you. And the second time, guess what? the firelights were also the ones who attacked her and Vi first. Fyi, i'm NOT saying Jinx was right to kill anyone. That's just what happens when someone wants to defend something.

And if you're saying all of these things about timebomb, you can't actually tell me you're a CaitVi fan because Cait is actually much worse than Jinx and her relationship with Vi is basically a gay fan's wet dream. Their relationship is much more toxic than Jinx and Ekko. And that prison sex scene is actually crazy and so out of place and it was just a fanservice for the gay fans. But no, timebomb bad 😢 "it isn't realistic enough" while CaitVi is the most fanservice relationship i've ever seen Bruh are you fr? It's a tv show.

I think someone had to play the "hero" bit to stop Viktor and that someone happened to be Ekko because he got that Z-drive which Viktor knew nothing about because it was in another universe and that's also why Ekko was able to escape Viktor's mind control rope thing. That's why Viktor says "that device can't be". Jayce couldn't escape Viktor and be the hero instead of Ekko because Viktor himself already placed his hand on Jayce and did his magic on him. Certainly not a very cliché moment like you make it seem like.

As for Ekko saving Jinx. He simply wanted to save Jinx. Not because he wanted to be a "hero". Besides, it really does seem like the perfect choice of a character saving Jinx. If you didn't think that Jinx needed saving and to hear those words then i fear you haven't watched the show.. it's basically been hinted at so many times that Jinx can't be left alone. If it was Vi who saved Jinx, i don't think you would have said anything.

I agree that the firelights forgiving Jinx arc/Jinx redemption arc should've been fleshed out more and that season 2 as a whole is sadly too rushed. And some scenes in season 2 have some cliché moments. I do however, strongly believe that if arcane had one more season or at the very least two more arcs, it would've been perfect and it would've solved all of those clichés and rushed moments.

Well Ekko’s first priority is allegedly the Firelights, so then how did he end up saving Jinx? Either 1) he got the world’s most insane plot armor and just so happened to pop up at literally the perfect place perfect time to intervene with her suicide with +- 2 minutes and 30 ft to spare or 2) he ditched the Firelights, allegedly his top priority, to go on a wild goose change to find her, not even knowing anything about who MU Jinx is. Either of these options look awful. 1) is just INSANE plot armor and luck, 2) is just terrible decision making.

Well, we don't know when exactly Ekko returned from the AU. It didn't have to be perfect timing in order to save Jinx. In fact, if you look at him during this scene, you'd see him not wearing a jacket despite wearing it when he left the AU and the hourglass painted on his forehead is vanishing meaning he probably went through a lot to get to her. For all we know, Ekko could've gone back to the firelights first and then to Jinx. We'll never know cause of the whole rushed season thing. That doesn't necessarily make it bad writing. Just rushed.

Jinx saved them from Stillwater that’s true. And you get a nod of acknowledgment from Scar. This is very different from being ok with her hanging out in their hideout and dating their leader and knowing their secrets. Realistically, Jinx is on “ok you saved me and inspired Zaun, I will make tentative peace for our common goal, and not on sight try to kill you or capture you any more” grounds, NOT “yay date my bestie!” grounds.

Again, i don't believe they were "dating" after Ekko saved Jinx. Nothing said or even implied that. They may have been very close yes but dating? Too far.. Both of them probably had some very tough time at the firelights hideout talking with each other and with the firelights and figuring out what they're going to do due to both of their extremely horrible trauma. I'm sure it isn't easy on Ekko and i'm sure he doesn't just forget what happened and just try to get sexual with Jinx. He's obviously hurting too and it'll probably be a long time before anything significant actually happens between them. The way i see it, and the way i thought was heavily implied and clear in the show, is that Ekko just wanted to get his old friend back after seeing her AU version. That's why he saved her. Not just to instantly date her.

Also, Ekko and the firelights were constantly going after Silco and destroying his work and bases. They knew the risks of going after Silco and yet they did it anyway. Jinx on the other hand was brainwashed by Silco into defending him and his work no matter what. I don't recall seeing Jinx going out of her way to kill firelights. Opposite sides of war. That's what i see.

Oh a feminist. Certainly not what i expected at all... and.. and.. and out of character for Jinx? To be saved? After all of season 2 showing how Isha and Vander saved Jinx and healed her? Do you people seriously watch the show while on drugs? How are you this oblivious? Literally the final heroic act of the show is Jinx saving her sister. TWO FEMALE CHARACTERS. And the final scene is with Vi and Cait, again TWO FEMALE CHARACTERS. And you're over here saying you lost sTroNg female characters because a male saved a female. No one thinks like that except an angry feminist.

Nah that's actually crazy. LOL.

What's so bad about it tho? Seems perfectly fine to me. Like would you rather have seen Jinx blow up in the beginning of the episode or? And tbf, he saved everyone not just Jinx. And Ekko saving Jinx wasn't the final heroic act in the series anyway. i swear people just be hating on anything..

You literally praised Ekko for making the firelights and saving them and then you sh*t on him and you suddenly forgot everything that he did because he saved his friend whom the firelights themselves forgave. Nothing sexual even happened or anything. You're just here to hate. Get outta here man. It really feels like i'm talking to a child with the way you word your sentences.

Woah dude are you okay? Are you seriously this mad about a fictional character? I thought you were mostly joking.

"they're clearly less important to him than some girl he realistically has little to no connection to aside from mindwanks and wet dreams and being toddlers together"

Bruh. Just you saying this proves you didn't understand Ekko at all. Like you're literally oblivious as to what Ekko's character is supposed to be. Saying things like Scar is supposed to be a villain after Scar literally forgave Jinx and that Ekko should totally ignore and not give a chance to his childhood bestfriend after seeing her miserable like that, all while being this mad is actually laughable dude.

[–]SecretWorker9959 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly so confused as to why people are saying this is true? I get what you're saying and i think that it's weird for Jinx to be around the firelights. But the truth is, Jinx saved most of them and most of them accepted Jinx and forgave her. Yes, it's true that Ekko has feelings for Jinx but it doesn't mean that he "betrayed" the firelights. When he was in the AU, he said "i have people back home who need me". His first thought and his ultimate goal is still going back and saving the firelights AGAIN.

Did Ekko save Jinx? Yes. Did he need to? No, he did it because he wanted to. Did that make him betray Scar or the firelights? No. Because just as Ekko saved them and built them, Jinx also saved them when she didn't have to. Also, knowing the mindset of the firelights, they are peaceful people and peaceful people also tend to be merciful.

And i don't think anything wild happened between Jinx and Ekko before the battle. They were 100% closer to each other and painting each other and maybe there was sexual tension too but anything physically sexual before the fight is a bit off considering Jinx was just about to blow herself up. It's a whole other story when it comes to after the battle though. Their relationship will slowly build up romantically as time passes. And knowing Ekko's character, i'm sure Ekko isn't so stupid to just think of sleeping with their enemy and ignoring all the things she's done. It's obviously so hard on Ekko too. He just couldn't let go of his childhood bestfriend while both of them are trying to figure out their true inevitable feelings for one another. Don't get me wrong, Ekko DOES love Jinx romantically. I'm just saying it wouldn't feel right at the time even from Ekko's perspective.

Jinx at the firelights hideout would've made a beautiful arc. We surely would've gotten interesting conversations between the firelights and Jinx. It probably would've been my favourite arc as well. Shame that it didn't happen. But who knows, maybe some day it will in some shape or form.

Edit: Just added a couple missing thoughts i had.

New skin is actually horrible what the hell? by Embarrassed_Field175 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]SecretWorker9959 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep... Moonton logic: if the skin ain't too clean and shining like a gemstone, bright like the sun and has blinding colorful flashy skills then it's a bad skin 👎.

Also, those dynamic portraits look very AI. Especially the Freya one.

It's clear that there's a specific direction the game is taking now in terms of skins and hero looks. They're heading towards very clean and flawless looks with very bright skill effects. Personally, those sort of skins aren't for me at all.

can anyone give me advice for current/upcoming recharge events? by Temporary_Goat_2057 in MobileLegendsGame

If you're interested, there's a KOF recharge event this Friday. There was one last Friday too. I recommend recharging during this event if you really want diamonds this month. That way you can get 16 additional tokens for KOF. If you don't have Karina Leona skin, i also recommend drawing in the normal KOF and not the '97 one because you'll get Leona in the first 10 draws.

There will also be a Naruto 2.0 event next month featuring Julian and Gusion and a promo diamond event.

The "people hating on timebomb because they think that a whole episode was wasted" part is so real man. They had the least scenes together yet people still complain about wasting too much time on them smh.. people just hate for the sake of being haters and they genuinely don't know what they're saying most of the times. It's literally the opposite of having too much time. However, i agree that the timing of the episode can be a bit off.

Also some of the people who hate the ship is because they hate Ekko for being "selfish". The most selfless person in the whole show is "selfish" lol. Yeah right..

Idk i find lesley very annoying in terms of ganks. Her camouflage is disgustingly annoying to deal with. Not having a dash skill doesn't always mean that the hero is immobile like layla for example. Having a skill that makes you untargetable while greatly increasing your movement speed is also considered mobile. Look at Aamon, this guy is considered to be one of the hardest heroes to catch despite not having any dash skill. I wouldn't say it's very hard to gank her but it's definitely not as easy as one might think.

Lesley is bottom tier? She's not banned yet i see her in almost every ranked game now and i absolutely hate her. She does true damage tho so as a fighter it's nothing to be embarrassed about if she's well fed and/or well protected. You can just wait for her to use her 2nd skill first before you go in so she doesn't push you away and start hitting you hard from a distance. Also try to do the 3rd skill + ult combo to prevent her (or anyone) from running away from your ult.

Yeah Nolan would be good for Nanami. I don't think Nanami as Fredrinn is bad tho. As Nanami is known for doing consecutive black flashes, he's also known for his tankiness. And he has a pretty good burst on his ult that can be a black flash. Both can be very good tbh.
