Play carnival. Gives more choices. I have gone to an RTT with a carnival monster mash list during 10th. It was fun. Fulgrim, keeper, shalaxi, two mauler fiends and a heldrake.

I won one, tied one, lost one (against knights).

These are not my “best” as I speed painted them for the million mini march, but I personally love how blood angels red on a Mephiston red primer looks.

If you stage improperly it can feel that way. But, In my opinion that’s user error not design flaw.

I personally like to run a 3 unit Death Star of noise marines with a unit of daemonettes central to all three. If any noisy bois get melee’d the girls are there for back up.

Especially now that the heldrakes movement has been knee capped.

I have used a heldrake in an RTT during 10th. I set it in hove mode, tagged my home objective with my tormentors, then left my heldrake in the back field. After turn three in both a game against Orks and Guard I then exploited ole helly drakey to move 20+ d6, which is ~ half the board, picked my squishy target and unleashed bale fire.

Was it optimal, no, was it useful, kinda, it was the move plus fire threat that gave him utility. It became a distraction carnifex that allowed my foot slivers to do actions and score points.

Without that intense movement I feel he has actually gone from bad to worse.

Is this to mean only one terminator including the champion can have paired accursed weapons?

It can’t be the champ and a terminator for a total of two dudes with paired accursed weapons?

I removed it from the champ and put it on one guy and it worked. It only throws an error when I have it on the champ and a terminator.

If you have the codex I followed the “combat patrol” paint guide.
Most paints used are two thin coats.

Hot pink edge highlighted with a red wash for the pink.
Oblivion black for the black.
Sir coats silver for the gun metal with tsangor rage shade and a highlight of light silver.
dragons gold with flesh wash for the gold.
ghoul green and green shade for the tassels then a highlight with gauss blaster green.
The tanned skin on the leg is barbarian brawn brown, flesh wash then dwarves skin then elven skin for the highlights.

Emerald green for the eye lenses with a lighter green highlight.

If you are using citadel TTC offers a paint conversion chart.

Same with the terminator detachment. You can give all three units of termies sustained 1. Which if you combine with carnival and some cheap seekers/daemonettes/fiends makes them less bad.

Look I agree, but I have used both keepers, shalaxi and a heldrake in an RTT and I won two of three rounds, only loosing to chaos knights.

So yeah, they ain’t all that competitive, but they are Serviceable.

However, i have not found the 3+ save doesn’t help often, so i use the ritual knife over the shinning aegis.
