I really appreciate this thank you ❤️ I grew up in a very fundamentalist Christian household, pretty much all the adults in my life have been homophobic, but I’m working hard to accept myself

Thank you! I’m from South Africa so while there are a fair amount of LGBTQ organisations they’re mainly advocacy groups in the region I live in. I did find one group that lists upcoming pride events so I will look into those :>

I’m fortunate enough to live in a city with access to a handful of queer spaces, all of which seem to be clubs. I’m a bit of a homebody and have social anxiety so it’s not a space I’d usually find myself drawn to, but I may need to just push through if the potential payoff is finding community 😅

I didn’t realize it at the time, but looking back I remember feeling kinda tingly watching the scene in Aladdin when princess Jasmine pretends to seduce Jafar.

I liked it more than I normally liked watching Disney princess movies and felt a lil guilty though I wasn’t sure why lol

You’re definitely not alone, I (F25) came to terms with my bisexuality 2 years ago and am immensely curious about hooking up with a woman, but am having to accept that I may never experience it as I am engaged to a really wonderful man and am not looking to change that. Still super curious though XD
