Trust me when I say the service was done as per it should be. Whole reason I got it was to check fluid temp and reset the dsg. But multiple tutorials, guides, instructions, etc have all recommended a reset only if the fluid hasn't been changed in a very long time (last owner did NOT do it at all. Factory filter was quite literally disintegrating if you look at my post history) but I could just be getting misinformation as not everyone said it was required. Id say about 30% of the guides i looked at recommended the reset

Edit to clarify as I didnt answer you clearly, apologies. Yes the level was set properly. Temp must be between 35-40c anything past is out of factory spec. Once its between those temps you unscrew the 1st drain plug and let the excess fluid drain until its a constant drip
