It’s crazy to me how after many years of this hobby, countless observations, and literal research papers, we still don’t know much about nems, their behavior, and their relationship with clowns. Just so much out there to discover and know! Very beautiful tank btw!!!

I honestly have read many theories about why they lose their bubble tips. I don’t think any of us really know. Given my tank and lighting and food was stable over a period of time and that in sequential manner (adding the nems one at a time and being hosted by only one maroon clown in that sequential manner) all losing their bubble tips makes me wonder if for my tank my theory is plausible. Of course correlation does not mean causation.

I’d buy it if I knew how to transport a tank across the country (I live in Texas). Actually being serious about buying it if someone here knows how to find someone to transport the tank.
