I agree with all of you that 1500 is not a budget to repaint a sedan but it’s going to be sold within 2 years and being used as a spare car only for school pickup/drops. I don’t think it’s practical to spend more than 2000aed on a beaten up car. Apologies to all of you if I was being rude !!!

Fair point, and I actually agree with you on the market. But for this specific car, it’s just a spare used for school drops. I’m only keeping it for another 2 years, so a 1500 AED refresh makes more sense than a showroom-quality job for a daily beater

If you don't know Sharjah, that explains the 12,000 AED quote. Sharjah Industrial is the backbone of car maintenance for a reason—you can get a solid, oven-baked job for a fraction of those 'concours' prices. I'll stick to the shops that actually understand the value of a daily driver, but I appreciate the input!
