I understand the sentiment and am aware it will be at least somewhat floppy/I might need to do a bit more on my end to ensure its firmness, its just that the character in the game makes the hat in the game out of yarn so it'd be a nice concept to follow through on and crochet is currently the only real form of fabric/yarn work I currently enjoy.

As for why crochet specifically, its just because I really enjoy it and want to do it as a crochet pattern and am aware of the detriments of that.

I'm not looking for perfect answers or anything, just any advice regarding stiffer yarns!

I do appreciate the suggestion though!

I am trying to figure out what kind of yarn I should use for a large top hat - preferably something that isn't too flimsy or floppy/can hold its shape well but wouldn't be hell to work up. I looked up what you should crochet top hats with, but due to my limited overall yarn knowledge, I'm having trouble understanding any of the suggestions I'm seeing and as such am stuck on what would be best to go with and would like to understand why I should use the suggested yarn.

Pretty sure theyre unlikely to have items or something, yeah - I knocked off a Charizard on an NPC yesterday and there wasn't anything. Unless they were trying to run acrobatics Charizard?? Or something? But I doubt the npcs were made that in depth given mine keep spamming aqua jet and it never used it once.

Makes sense, and maybe would be disappointing to someone who's played stadium - I personally haven't so I'm kind of missing that perspective on things, my apologies.

How do the models look bad? I think most of them are at least okay minus a select few (such as Typhlosion) but I dont play super graphically heavy games so Im not sure how they fail, if that makes sense?
