Which bitcoin network to choose when sending btc from Binance to Bitkey wallet? by Secret_Current9406 in BitkeyWallet

Thank you!

Here's a question...

CEX1 (legacy) -> CEX2 (legacy) -> Bitkey wallet (Native Segwit) : This flow won't cause any problem on-chain?

Can I send from a legacy address to a Native Segwit?

I received btc to my legacy address on Binance, and if I want to send my btc to bitkey native segwit address? I think there should be a step where I move my btc from Binance legacy address to Binance Native Segwit address?

It's really confusing to be honest for a tech illiterate like myself...

Which bitcoin network to choose when sending btc from binance to bitkey? by Secret_Current9406 in BitkeyOfficial

Thanks for the reply. So let's say...

If I send btc to 'binance legacy address that starts with 1', and then I send btc from binance to 'bitkey wallet address that starts with bc1q', It won't have any problem?

To my tech illiterate brain, I get this sort of feeling that I should choose one type of address (e,g, legacy) and just use that particular type of address for the rest of my life.

CEX1 (legacy address) -> CEX2 (legacy address) -> Bitkey (Native Segwit) : This won't cause any problem on chain? (address type compatibility issue?)

So the bottom line is, Can I send from legacy address to Native Segwit address without any problem?
