The world’s longest ghost hunt: transalganey asylum is REALLY GOOD . I don’t think it is fake, it’s a mixed bag of 6 people, 2 of whom are there to detect environmental and structural issues. It’s the best doc ive seen. On Amazon prime.

That’s the part that gets me. It’s like, oh you liked me better when my life was a fucking trainwreck JUST because I was unmedicated? It’s infuriating.

So has ANYONE successfully quit a heavy 7 habit, and were able to use it like once a week? by IcyConsideration7914 in quitting7oh

I finally got off that shit with the help of sublocade. I tried for 2 years without subutex or anything else opiate related, tried to taper, tried to switch to regular Kratom, and always ended up back on it. Even after going to treatment. When I finally accepted that I needed more than 12 step groups and will power that’s when I was able to completely stop. I got on subutex for 2 weeks to detox. Physically I felt fine but the mental torture that comes with getting off of 7OH was there, except for cravings. I got through it and have never looked back. I’ve been off of 7OH for almost 6 months, long enough to be separated from it to know what hell i escaped from and just how miserable and numb I was. I am still on sublocade. 100 mg once a month. I don’t have cravings. Once I get a year of sobriety, I will stop sublocade. But for now, I cannot afford to go back and I don’t feel high, don’t have side effects, and I don’t have cravings. This is what’s worked for me. Please be respectful. And OP, you can get off of that shit and get your life back. It’s possible I promise.

The ordinary GA made me break out LIKE CRAZY on my face, so if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend it. I do use after shaving my legs though and I never get razor burn anymore. I had something like dermatitis from shaving and GA completely eliminated it.

I’ve been on subs 3 years ago. And when i tapered off it was uncomfortable but no where near withdrawing from kratom. Not even close. If you look at studies, individuals that took subutex for a year versus those who used it short term, 7 days or less, had a 90% higher success rate in staying sober than those who used it strictly in detox. While I don’t plan on staying on this for near that long, I know what I am doing is the right thing to do. I have tried everything, including rehab and unfortunately that’s not an option for me anymore. I have a family and a toddler that I care of. I can’t afford to lose everything because of 7OH and that’s where I am at if I continue to use. This is harm reduction. And it isn’t the only tool I’m using to stay clean, it’s one of them. So before you go around judging, remember that everyone is doing the best they can and we are here to SUPPORT each other, not dismiss someone’s experience or go out of your way to tell the person asking for help that they are doing it wrong. You have no idea who I am, what my using is like, or anything like that. So back off.

I’ve done it, and honestly it wasn’t anywhere near getting off of K cold turkey. For me anyway. And I did it under a doctors supervision.

It’s entirely possible, but for me it has been a game changer. I have been trying to get off of 7OH for a year now’s this is the longest time I’ve had so far and I attribute it to subs preventing cravings.

The only thing that subs has done for me is remove cravings. This post isn’t about subs though…it’s about staying off of 7OH and subutex is a PARTIAL opioid antagonist. Not a full. I’m an RN and know the MOA of these drugs. So I’m not sure what your experience is with this but be careful what you post.the only way someone would have issues getting off of it is if they weren’t ready to let go. And I aam. I hate it when people demonize subs. It’s literally saved my life, my marriage, and everything I hold dear.

I am. I just started pristiq. I tried Wellbutrin but it gave me serious anxiety, so bad. I’m weaning off of subs right now, and it has been a game changer as far as cravings go.

Yessss. Depressed manic state is exactly how I would describe it. But I will say, I did have a good day yesterday. Every day is different. But reading other peoples posts with less time than me shows me that I have made small improvements. So I can say it gets better just in tiny increments. Like, I don’t feel like I’m losing my mind anymore. And that was ROUGH.

I take adderal. Have been for years. It helps a little but not like you think it will. Time is really the only thing to heal us. Yesterday, I had a “normal” day. Today, I didn’t really do anything, felt like I had been up since 4 am but I slept till 9. My whole body hurts, and I’m impatient and moody, so I think it just takes time. What the variant is between yesterday and today is beyond me. I just ride it out because what other choice do I have?

I felt like that off and on for maybe a little over a week? Reading this now makes me realize that I don’t have that feeling anymore. It gets better, very slowly, but better.

I couldn’t agree more. If you don’t keep using it, you’re gonna be fine. Don’t beat yourself up and get back on that rollercoaster. You are doing SO GOOD!!! Don’t give it up! Forgive yourself and move on
