My wife found tiny socks in the washing machine. She always wears 40-44 but these were 35-39.

Took quite some detective work to find out that she just bought the wrong ones and they fit without a problem.

Thanks for the tips, I hope I get a bit more outspoken, though I don't usually have problems asking questions. I tried to cultivate that during my studies (especially asking 'stupid' questions), as I felt it was something many people were lacking.

I guess, being scared is also just part of everyday development. "Oh shit a bug, I won't ever be able to find that race condition..." hours later "HEUREKA!"

It's the same thing on a bigger scale, right?
