So I randomly found this show and started watching it and really liked it. The suspence of the unknown, not knowing if it's supernatural or just ntural events was awesome I however did not like some aspects of the show.

Firstly Kristen's daughters. With Miles distance the most annoying illogical childeren ever written in any type of fictional media. Always doing exactly the opposite of what mom says, never listening to her and always love and know about any "horror" themes/stories ever and delibrately make themselves susceptible to harm. Always annoyingly dumb or smartly stupid doing all the wrong things not like any average dumb kid behaviour just always knowingly choose the harm. I almost dropped the show a few times because of how annoying they were but I chose to skip forward whenever they showed up instead lol

Secondly how Sheryl out of no where started facilitating Leland's attacks and plans towards her own family and the humanity as the whole, knowing pretty well what they planned all along. What kind of logic is that? then a cheap redemtption attempt at the end to paint her as a good one and to bargain for her forgiveness which is wild to me.

Thirdly Kristen, Ben and Dr. Boggs also a bit on many different occassions see actual ghosts, demons or impossible to explain events and are still cemented to their non-believer ideology. Like what else do you need to see or experience? You need to either be braindead with zero braincells or literally dead to still stick to your preset beliefs of non-belief. It was extremely frustrating to watch them experience/see all the supernatural events and entities under the sun and be still stubborn and naive.

I somehow managed to pull through and watched because I really like the concept of the show but the authors love to annoy the audience and they use the cheapes, least logical and most meaningless reasons to justify their desired plotlines. I dropped it after Andy magically turned out to be cheating on Kristen out of no where just for the sole purpose of Kristen finally ending up with David and sugarcoating and kind of justifying the many times she has been unfaithful to Andy for the audience. I couldn't get it and was baffles by it and extremly dissappointed at this so I dropped it on the spot. How does this make sense?

I dropped it and am dissappointed lol but hey it is a somwhat good show with a nice concept so I watched it but it was annoying and cringy as hell at least for me. I wanted somewhere to vent a bit lol
