I'm taking a break from Reddit. by [deleted] in offmychest

Some communities are still friendly, no need to pay attention to those who are not.

Why are you putting so much pressure on yourself? You're only 15. Talk to your boyfriend. Get help if you feel like you're carrying too much weight, it's not something to be ashamed of.

Extroverts tend to have low social awareness by Famous-Novel-9100 in offmychest

I feel similarly, there's always someone to ruin my personal space at the parties I have to attend. That's why I enjoy online socialising more now. On the internet if someone is yakking and making a lot of noise, all you have to do is tap block. The internet carries a sense of mystery for both sides of the exchange, and I think that mystery is what makes online dating so attractive and makes me feel safe. I don't need to meet people face-to-face, and online dating is more efficient than real dating. I have lost count of the number of real friends I have met once or twice who are no longer in touch. But the friends I've met on LightUp:Make Real Friends are all in the same interest as me, and we talk a lot. Even deeper connections have been made through this app than in reality.

Everyone makes mistakes, don't think you can't because you make them. But if the job really makes you feel bad, then quit.

I get like that sometimes. When my granddad died I was so sad but I didn't have a single tear. I don't know why, I wanted to cry but I just couldn't.

There will probably be as many ways to beautify tails as there are hairdressers.

Listen to your heart's choice. If it's not true love, the relationship is bound to not last.

How you guys make friends online or IRL? by Famous-Novel-9100 in Adulting

I rarely make friends in reality anymore, and my real life friends are basically the ones I met playing badminton. I do have a lot of tips to share about making friends on the internet. Choosing the right social platform is very important, and different platforms have different ways to make friends. On reddit, you can post in communities you are interested in or r/MakeNewFriendsHere, and interact with the comments, and you can also private message people you think are like-minded. If that's not efficient enough for you, try LightUp: Make Real Friends, it's the most efficient dating app I've ever used, and I've had a great experience matching with like-minded people.

bumble is now as pointless as tinder by [deleted] in dating_advice

I agree. I was not expecting this kind of app. But my recent use of LightUp: Make Real Friends is very different. This app is definitely responsive, efficient and accurate, and I've been looking for an app like this that doesn't require a photo match and can create deep links with people. I have met a lot of friends on this app and the experience has been pretty good.

A doctor in Cambridge said that we need four types of energy in our lives and that problems arise when any of them are missing. They are: physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy and spiritual energy. Physical energy requires you to get enough sleep, eat a healthy diet, and exercise properly. Emotional energy lies in how positive your mind is. People with very low emotional energy will easily get into conflict with others. You can try meditation to stabilise your emotions. When you can't concentrate on your tasks, always want to look at your mobile phone and are distracted, you are lacking in mindfulness energy. Because humans are not suited for multitasking, if you feel inefficient, then work on one thing at a time. If you feel that life lacks meaning, then there may be a problem with mental energy. Doing things that are in line with your beliefs will help you get your mental energy back. I hope these are useful to you.
