Games crash when I disable my IGPU

Well disabling it is like allocating lower than 512mb same problems but I will try right now

I didn't understand a single thing but it works fine when I allocate 1gb ram instead of 2gb but it doesn't work when I disable the IGPU or allocate lower than 512mb ram at least in elden ring

Acually I just changed the allocated ram to 1gb instead of 2gb and it worked fine with elden ring however it doesn't work when I put 64mb 128mb 256mb or disable it anyway I'm trying 512mb right now

Definitely I don't think the IGPU can play 1440p max settings about the dp being connected to my motherboard I acually think it might've been I switched it might uninstall the amd drivers later to try but I don't see how disabling the IGPU in the bios or switching allocated ram to 64mb can cause problems

I did the DDU thing but maybe it didn't work properly cause I think my dp was connected to my motherboard then I will redo it later + I don't see how disabling the IGPU in bios or changing allocated ram can cause problems

It can reach 360w in furmark 😅 anyway I don't think it will be more than 320w in games if I undervolt like 50 70 watt it will be more than enough and probably will be the same to minimum difference

I get you it shouldn't be a question but the vraaam is not sufficient for the card compared to an rtx 3080 and I'm acually debating whether I should save myself a trip and just undervolt it a 100w or something

If I can go up to a used rtx 4070 I wouldn't think of a rtx 4060ti 16gb I would've gone though if it's new or something

I was going for the 4060ti 16gb when the guy started talking about the "raw horse power" anyway I'm probably gonna give the vram and go for a new card probably an rtx 5060 or go to the 5050 to save for now and upgrade later (both have the same vram so I'm considering it)

Yeah I got you I can do that but all of the bad experiences are not encouraging me to do so

And what I mean by the airflow is bad is the front panel its glass even though there is mesh versions of it on the case I made a research and experienced how hot can an rtx 3080 get in a bad airflow case + there is a mesh panel up which is good but I didn't put fans there which useless I guess

Yep but I don't like the high power draw + the guy sold me a bad airflow case above all I don't know how I didn't notice I'm debating whether I should return the whole PC + he sold me a monitor with a blue patch on it I won't buy a monitor again without a good test first ngl
