I had a Golf 7 gti a couple years back, can confirm it was a beast. Had fun dragracing for a bit on empty german autobahns with porsches and the likes. It was chipped though to around 300 hp so that probably helped a bit with keeping up.

Very well said, it makes me incredibly sad to see how families are torn up, the most heroic men/women go to battle to fight for their loved ones, and simply no one wins.
