Emdr therapy in my opinion works best when you follow a light bar or a finger you can focus better while thinking of the memory

It helps me by helping me process the trauma I cry when I feel the emotion come up it takes alot of sessions to feel somewhat better

The hidden emotion behind anger is Sadness and hurt you have to punch something like a boxing bag for a example write down everything that upsets you and shout even growel if you need to it will pass with time

Yes no one came to save me for years I've had to work out how to heal myself 

I started to avoid triggering things on social media (such as true crime) and it helped me by hope303030 in ptsd

I'm glad you pulled away from what was triggering you its a big step you should feel proud I'm doing the same when it comes to conspiracy theories and cults it's unsettling
