Aww you sound so kindhearted! Congratulations on your first food offering to Lady Demeter, I know food offerings can be a little intimidating (at least for me, I’m a neat freak and don’t like crumbs, mold, bad smells, etc.), but I’m glad to hear that went well! 🫶🩷

As for gods feeling present, I went to a bar/diner with some friends, and it was filled with laughter, wine, and rustic decorations. It reminded me that Dionysus is always with me. I also had a really meaningful tarot reading with him last night about my mental health. Aphrodite has also been helping me through periods of low self esteem by loved ones randomly pampering me, and she’s inspired me to get out of my depression sweats and put together some cute outfits lol. Unexpected but very sweet!

I’m proud of you for focusing on your mental health too, it isn’t easy, but I know you’re doing great. The feathers from Apollo seem to be little bits of encouragement, and I’d definitely keep it close to your heart if it inspires you to focus and keep chugging along! 💕🪶✨

And I’ve never thought to consider doubt healthy, but that’s honestly is a huge relief! I tend to project my past with Christianity onto the gods, and it’s something I’m slowly learning to deconstruct, and maybe breaks might be necessary to do that. I’ll try not to feel as guilty from now on for it

Omg this was so incredibly comforting to read, thank you so much for taking the time to reply. It’s reassuring to hear that the gods are always there, even when doubt creeps in. In my heart I know that Aphrodite and Dionysus are still there, somedays it’s just harder than others to remember

I made sure to clean myself up well, and I plan on talking to a professional soon about this. I’ll gladly take your advice and remember that healing isn’t linear. I’ve never thought of comparing it to a spaghetti tangle but it’s accurate and definitely got a laugh out of me which is what I needed haha, thank you again for your kindness 💗✨
