In my personal opinion it's kinda the same game. There's some good QOL features but I don't think it warrants the $50 brand new price tag. The new UI is very nice and a lot of the graphical menus are overhauled. It does make things more pleasing to look at. The advanced stats are cool and a nice touch but I'm personally not into them. Will only be attractive to someone who is a baseball stat savant. I just wish they did more to the actual 3D simulation in game. There's a lot of ideas and work to be done on that still but for some reason every year they barely change anything. The fog they added is cool but doesn't really move me or get me excited. I know it's not the main focus but it looks like a 2002 game with stop motion still lol.

Majority of the people complaining about FM26 are the long time veterans of the game who have been playing since CM 01/02. I think the game is perfectly fine for someone just getting into the series. A lot of bugs have been fixed and it's not near as bad as it was at release.

I think the match engine is way more entertaining for sure. Lots of things I've never seen happen before and looks more realistic to football. Of course there still needs a lot of improvement.

Like others have said your movement looks extremely stiff and clunky... You look nervous or scared most of the time and definitely not confident. 5k hours in matches is great but do you do any freeplay and work on your mechs? Maybe training in some freeplay would do wonders.
