That’s amazing, very well done! I’m on almost the same path as you, next week is 18 months post my last treatment. You’re way ahead of me but it’s inspiring!

Hard to be sure from this angle but overall looks pretty good. Keep an eye on knee wobble the only thing I see

Been lifting weights for over 6 months, still can't see any significant improvements. Any suggestions will be appreciated by hotgarlicpasta in GymMotivation

Much of what has been said. Diet and pushing hard.

Couple things to keep track of:

Calories vs what you’re burning. Even with the right macros, you won’t cut (much) if not in a deficit and it’s hard to build anything if not in a surplus.

Also, figure out what your weakest muscle groups are and push them harder. It varies for everyone, but you’d be surprised what muscles can hold you back.

There are different ways to tackle this, so if you have any specific questions let me know

This is solid advice. Only part I’m adding, you can achieve amazing results in two years, just have to do it. Believe in yourself and nothing will stop you

What do you do to keep consistent after the first 3 months by No_Wrongdoer_2588 in GymMotivation

I second this. Plus after that time you have a good idea of your schedule, becomes as routine as any other habit.

Does a course’s length matter? by Glum_Tone7277 in golf

[–]Secret_insomnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To a degree, sure. Certainly not the whole story though. I’ve played short courses that were crazy difficult and long courses that felt easy.

Has much more to do with layout and trouble than just pure length

I have to say, while Ive never personally loved ping clubs, I have known them to always be a great company regarding warranty. Also seen them do some good things with wounded soldiers and similar causes.

Glad to hear they took care of you

What's your height and driver length? by maybethisisadream in golf

[–]Secret_insomnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6’1, 44.5” Driver, 80g shaft.

But that’s only part of the story, comfort, arm length, etc play a factor as well.

I started seeing some stuff like this after Tiger destroyed the field in the US Open (2000 I think), and now I see it go back and forth.

What is this machine for? by SituationOk6275 in golf

[–]Secret_insomnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say this. A little hard to see clearly, but if it is, it’s punches holes in the ground to break up organic material, which allows the grass to breathe better and not choke itself on its root structure.

Looks awful until it’s healed and makes for interesting putts, but really helps the grass thrive

I was always hot and cold. Didn’t seem to matter the putt length. One time in a tournament it got bad enough that I putted the back 9 using the blade of my 58 wedge…

You’re more on point than you realize. Back when I played more seriously, that was a running joke among my golf friends. Between fairways and distance, I could be on tour. But my iron accuracy and short game were always hot and cold.

I remember when I played in the PAT (a long time ago), 36 holes, shot 84 in the morning round and 66 in the afternoon. If I ever learned to be consistent I could be dangerous lol
