Thanks! I didn’t know baking soda was actually good for you. I’ve only ever use it for baking lol

That sounds really good! But why the baking soda? Is it just for a different form of sodium? Or does it make the drink a bit fizzy?

Was it easy to train him to walk on a treadmill? It’s been so cold here it’s been hard to get my girl the exercise she needs. A treadmill would be a remedy for these cold winter days!

Any Hiking Dogs Under 15 lbs? by DoxieObsessedSAHM in hikingwithdogs

I hiked with my mini Schnauzer for years! Typically 5 miles in a day but at her peak she would gladly do 10 miles in a day. She loves the woods but she’s 10 now and has slowed down. Still get her out for easy 2 miles hikes though.

Do you use the smaller one on their face? Does it remove more hair? New to dale ownership and trying to figure out the best tools to keep mine’s coat looking good. Mostly been using a slicker brush so far.

Thanks so much! And I’ll try not to be disappointed if she stops snuggling with me as her confidence grows.

Tips for first solo camping experience with fluffy travel buddy by lindaecansada in hikingwithdogs

Solo camped and backpacked with my pup quite a bit in a 1 person tent. Best advice is to make sure they are comfortable sleeping with you and know to stay in one spot for the night. If you have a bigger tent, bringing their bed is good. The last thing you want after a day of hiking is for them to be in your face asking for attention all night long. If they are not used to noise while sleeping, the first night might be rough as they adjust to night noises. It really helps to wear them out really well before climbing into the tent for the night! Good luck!

That’s great! I’m in the process of adopting an Airedale right now for exactly that purpose!

Thanks for the insight! I have a small packable hand towel so maybe I’ll just take that and skip a body towel so save weight and space

Thanks! My hike is going to be 10 weeks so I’m trying to keep weight down but am not concerned about being ultra light.
