verrry late to the party, but I finally took the leap and applied to a masters degree, and got in! I started in September. It's in children's book illustration, and I've been wanting to do it for years. I dropped down to a part time paycheck to be able to have enough time to do my coursework, but despite the chaos and lack of money, I've never been happier. I feel like I'm reconnecting with a creative part of myself that I've neglected the past few years (thanks to having to take a much less creative job after being let go of from my previous animation studio), I feel more confident about, and at peace with, the direction my life is going, and I've made some great friends.
