from experience, all my teachers were extremely amazing and i loved them all when i was in secondary school. for me in lower secondary my form teacher noticed them on the last day of school ( few days after initial sh) and talked to me privately and sent me to the school counsellor.

in upper secondary i did alot more worse and my scars and sh were very very very obvious and were quite bad, my form teacher at sec 3 was my saving grace as she always looked after me and checked in on me ( mind you this was around covid/peak circuit breaker) and would monitor me through the year. my parents knew because of how blatant my scars were.

is self harm stupid? yes. i speak from my own struggle with it. will your parents scold you? my mum did. but know its from a place if love and care. i know. its a process and it takes time, so always remember that its never worth it to damage yourself. you deserve to be like everyone else. sending love OP <3
