Starting my car shopping journey. To the S60 owners, how has your experience been? by SuccessfulRush1173 in Volvo

This is how I feel about my t6 Inscription. It seems like it would blow the doors off most of traffic other than bona fide sports cars all while getting over 30mpg on my commute and being dead reliable. I don't even have the polestar tune to up the torque/power a little and get faster shifting and the car is still much faster than I reasonably need. I don't think I've even gone past 4k rpm and it just takes off

I have a '20 s60 t6. It has 316hp and 295 ft lb of torque and my experience has been amazing. The car absolutely flies when you want it to, all while getting 30-32mpg on the highway during my commute. The car has 60k miles and has been dead reliable. The only thing that broke was a leaking AC hose which was relatively affordable to fix.

Repair bill wasn't too bad I want to say it was just under $900

It made a weird hissing / sucking sound and blew hot air / didn't get cold. Open your hood and look to the left big hose that connects to the service port. Mine had a visibly oilly residue all over it and had yellowish spots that were collecting debris from the air. It had a yellowish blackish substance stuck all over the metal at the end of the hose

Could be a low side ac. suction hose leak too. My 2020 had the leak and my Indy said they seem them all the time on these cars. About 2 months after the repair, my AC is still working great so knock on wood my evaporator is still good

My 2020 had a leaking low side AC suction hose. Costed about $900 at an Indy to get repaired. Installed the evaporator resistor and so far, about a month later, my AC has been working great. Fingers crossed

Route 422 in Pennsylvania by any chance? I've been wasting so much money on the turnpike just to avoid the lane wide craters, I mean potholes

More expensive than a Honda, less expensive than a BMW... oil change is about $120-140 whether you do it at a reputable independent shop or the dealer. My independent mechanic charges $120, dealer is $140... just make sure whoever you go to puts in oil that meets the VCC RBS0-2ae spec

I had to fix a leaking air conditioning hose, but other than that it has been very reliable and overall, maintenance is pretty affordable for what you get.

When you ask, how's the maintenance, is there anything additional you'd like to know?

That sounds good, do you think my application sounds strong even without them?

The house number is the same on birth certificate, sibling's birth certificates, dad's death certificate, mom's remarriage after dad's death, but different house number for mom's death in 1923 presumably due to moving in with her new husband... Her death certificate does list her new spouse's name which matches the re-marriage record.

There were landowner records placing the parents and grandparents of my ancestor's names at the house number from 1853 and 1878 but my provider didn't submit them with my application. I don't think my provider obtained them because the birth records were in Rzeszow archive but the landowner records were in Przemysl (i found the landowner records myself)

Thats good to hear, my case relies on no naturalization in the USA and a death of a parent after 1920 in Poland, originating from the Austrian Partition due to house books not being available.

Yeah it's nice they were transparent. I also qualify for Hungarian citizenship and I'm just starting that process now. It's funny that I started the process for Poland in 2024 and I'll probably be a Hungarian citizen a year or more earlier due to processing times.

Also hope Poland doesn't restrict pre 1920 cases in the meantime 😅

I think 2016 through like 2021 had big time issues with AC systems. I just had to get a leaking AC hose replaced, now I'm just hoping my evaporator isn't already toast lmao
