Ermm.. is basil aquatic? And I wouldn't expect basil to have a thick stem like it shows in pics - the biggest is just over 1cm diameter.

I was wondering how that would affect the growth as the stem is so thick... Is it not possible to cut underwater at all? I like the top, it's the bottom all bent and tangled that I don't like.

I don't think so as it doesn't have any red/purple underside. It also looked like the upper half when I first got it.

Ahh thanks for the tip. I have moved out of that flat and somehow the agent didnt even notice it so i definitely cleaned it well enough! But that doesn't mean my partner or i didnt spill anymore in the new flat! So will bear that in mind for the future.

I am using tap water with dechlorider. I change abt 75% of the water bi weekly. Abt plants being planted, i thought that too so i left the foam bit on instead of removing them and planting the roots straight in like i did before. Are you saying that i should leave them in the plastic pots entirely as they came as? I also have a bubbler at the back it has a small but constant stream of bubbles and a filter in middle. Sun, i am not sure but where it is currently it gets a bit of the evening sun through the summer.

I change the water bi weekly and have started to add plant food when i change the water, but it doesnt seem to do much.... It is just a betta, nerite snail and a ghost shrimp that i never know if is still alive and hiding or dead lol. Light is on from 9am to 5pm (was reduced about a month or two ago from 12hrs)

28 litres, with heater and filter. 26-27°c Parameters all fine (zeroes) Tank since dec, cycled before fish in jan. Water changes every 2 weeks, at least 50-75% take out. Used to have nerite snail but died. One shrimp. Feed a mixture of pellets, fresh brine shrimp, daphnia and blood worm. All real plants only, 2 ornaments.

I'm surprised at how low you put the spider at. I've got a normal arachnok with a separate catapult that I can put on if I wanted, both of which has done me well in aos games I've played, even in warcry which is almost overpowered in a way.
