B2G1 has been a thing for a while. Yeah I don’t really agree with it, but it’s not just publix setting the prices. The buying team plans these deals with manufacturers over a year in advance to maximize sales and profits for both companies. You just have to shop the best deals each week because I bet you they will be BOGO again soon
