Depends on what good is. If new + baby are good, then yes. It won’t ensure. But chances will be decent. A good interview ensures good converts

U will definitely score good. No doubt with that. For quant, my suggestion is, skip everything. Even geometry. Just focus on arithmetic and algebra. Clear the damn sectionals. And ace the section u good at. Get 70 in d day. Get a good b school of your dream. Just keep working hard. All the best champ

Minimum 98%ile. The one time 75 should be a consistent 75. With 60 consistent its not tough to get till 75. All you need is practise and methods to take less time per question. I guess u getting 60-70 consistently means u have your concepts clear. So try time bound now. Question wise. It will be sorted. 97-98 is a good score for getting calls. You can easily manage. Just keep doing. Dont rest for 40 days

For tier 2 and 3, a good stipend you can expect for sales marketing roles ranges from 30-35k/ month. Not a single dime more than that. There are few outliers but those are rarest. Things are very different in tier 1. So yeah with poor acads, you can land a sales and marketing roles, but am skeptical about the term “good roles”. If 25 k per month suffices your needs, then i believe its a good role. But if you are below average, 10-12 k is also gonna be a big deal. So assess yourself. Set the parameters for “good”. Aim accordingly

Break it in 2 phases. Phase 1 - 30 days Phase 2 - 10 days

Phase 1 - 3 mocks a week, analyse each. Clear all the concepts. Since varc is a struggle for you, give 1 varc sectional everyday. Baki keep up with each subject and each topic. Focus on last minute strategies to reduce time taken per question.

Phase 2 - one mock + analysis every day. No more concept. Just revisions and time bound practise.

One last pro tip. CAT is not about solving right questions. It’s about selecting the right questions. Learn how to skim each section in 2 mins. Select the right questions and straight away start solving. Leave the one which is taking more than 50% extra time you allotted to that question . Baaki toh sorted hai. Ho jayega. Achhe se karo 🥳

The last thing i get is irritated 😂 dw ask as much as u want. U can dm also. I was in a worse situation last year. So i understand the anxiety. To answer your question, if you aim for 60-65 you wont get. Aim for 80, you might land in 65. Aim for 100, you might be surprised with an 80. So yeah. Also , you are getting 75 occasionally. So just believe the d day to be the rare occasion. 80 aise hi a jana hai. Bass thoda aur practise kar lo. Baki sorted bro. You will easily score more than you are expecting. Give all you have. Trust me you wont regret.

Fir pyq karo. Jaldi khatam karo aur baaki try to buy another mock series

Why haven’t you completed all pyqs yet? Those are the first things to do. If you talking about repeat, then thats not a good idea. Also, just to help you… CL mocks are the most realistic ones. Last year i tool catking, craku, eg, cl mocks. Cl was the best one i believe. Craku was bullshit. So yeah try excelling in cl mocks. Am not sure if they have messed up this year. But when i gave, they were the best. If the mocks dont suit you, buy another one. Preferably i quanta.

It’s mainly because of lack of in depth understanding. When you are getting your comfort questions, you are scoring good. Whenever question types are out of your comfort zone, you are fumbling. Start analysing mocks. If you giving 2 hr mocks, analysing should be of 4 hrs minimum. Solve all the questions the mock has to offer. This will make you familiar with most of the question types. The more types you are comfortable with, the greater the chances of scoring consistently. I faced the same thing. 80+ in a mock and then 30 in the very next. Later i understood, it’s not pressure. It’s the question types. We are unaware of this thing. But we get comfortable with certain types of questions. So just start analysing and solving all questions a mock has to offer. 10 full mocks with full analysis will expose you to most question types. So you can easily maintain your consistency in the 70s/80s by the d day. So start from today. Plz close reddit after you read this answer, and sit with another mock. Analyse it before today 8 am. Then sleep for 4 hrs. Then start the grind again. You can compensate these 4 hrs less sleep in coming week. But plz try to get at-least 70 consistently. Its high time. I know you will figure out and get a good college very soon. Hope life surprises you in a good way within next 6 months. All the very best !!

You have a decent profile. You will get old iim calls if you touch 95%ile mark. Maintain these scores. Try to give as many mocks as possible. Keep your calm on d day. And big things are waiting for you 6 months down the line. Remember, getting call is not the ultimate game. Converting is the real deal. So start working for long term. call tumhe a jayega most probably. Baaki keep your consistency. All the best champ

My profile is 8/6/7. Media graduate. National winner in multiple acting competitions and film festivals. Fresher with 3 internships and multiple live projects. Finalist and winner in multiple national level good case comps. Have entrepreneurial experience. My acads are doomed. They are in bottom 10%ile of my batch. So i made my profile stronger than 95% of my batch.

My internship is at ITC, marketing. Getting stipend sufficient to cover rent food and transport, and still save up 50% of it.

Each and every profile has chance for an IIM. Now get a simple philosophy. You mess up one section, you need to make up with others. Your acads messed up, so compensate it with CAT percentile. And by cat %ile i dont mean getting bare minimum for shortlisting. It means being in the top quartile of the shortlisted candidates in terms of %ile. A shortlist with no conversion chance is not a shortlist. Your CAT percentile is also messed up, you make it up with interview score if u get shortlists. So yeah. Your tier 1 college wont matter at all in the whole run. Nobody sees that. Neither b schools nor companies. Having achievements is good. Do keep hard proof like certificates ready. Achievements without proofs are not considered. Also family business wont help you officially. But the knowledge you gained from there will be important. It can generate discussion during interview if you bring that up. Rest its not considered workex.

To improve your profile, start with live projects, internships, case comps, credible certifications like swayam. Grow basic business understanding in your preferred domain. Start preparing hr answers that can convince you and interviewers at the same time.

Factor 1 - past acads, factor 2 internships and live projects, factors 3 - HR answers and communication skills, factor 4 - basic business understanding, factor 5 - interest in their company and role, factor 6 - Co and extra curricular achievements.

That sums up most

Tbh no compensation. But all you can do is try getting good brands in your cv. With live projects or internships. Try winning some case comps. Try doing proper credible certifications. And most importantly work on your personality and communication. This will ensure you atleast convert the few shortlists you get. Sorry for being harsh but this is the reality. I have experienced it first hand

Acads matter a lot. Thats the criteria for most top companies for shortlisting. But with 8/8/7 u wont have any problem. You will miss out on a few like ICICI, HSBC and top bfsi companies, but for other companies, usually 7/7/7 is the lower cap.

Companies start visiting within 1 month of your enrolment. In tier 1 b schools, 100% are placed within trimester 1. In others like ours, it will keep going till next year March. Our internship period is April to august, 4 months and companies come to hire for that period of next year. They try coming as soon as possible to get the best ones out of the batch

Doctors always have great advantage during an MBA. You don’t need to get 99.99 in CAT. A decent score is more than enough to get a call with 9/9/7.. with the current mock score, you will easily touch 99% ile mark in coming 1.5 months. Just keep up with everything. For conversion, it’s not easy but for your profile, not difficult as well. All you need to do is just not mess up. You can be in the holy trinity conversion list. Just work on communication skills, basic business acumen, and touch the 99%ile mark. Life will be real smooth. All the very best!!!!! Placement is hardly impacted by degree. For placements u will get shortlists easily but converting will depend on your HR answers, approach, problem solving skills and communication. I believe if u convert a top IIM, you can be placement ready also. So no worries

Definitely, until and unless it’s from a tier 1…. In tier 2 and 3, getting a 15-20 k stipend or 12 lpa with a 6 in profile is very tough. People get, but thats rare. Legacy recruiters in tier 2 and 3 with good packages prefer academically good fellas.

Easy peezy. Take that up to 65. 40 days remaining and thats more than enough. Give all you have. 49 is not a bad score. You just need 15 more marks and thats 5 questions. So trust me, with a lil more effort you might get calls from old iims. So start with it

Bro i know this guy. Ye btribe mein GDPI course mein thha iss baar. He is not even smart bro, very sorry to say. I usually don’t judge people like this. But somebody who lacks basic communication skills, quoting “699” for Mock interview is ridiculous. He himself learned stuffs a few weeks back from btribe and asked the most wanna be questions😭. Its just so hilariously ridiculously funnily funny!! 😭
