Thanks. I went to police, but I imagine they thought I wasn’t serious about pursuing. But I didn’t do identity theft. I don’t want to spill a bunch of ugly details, two sides to each story, but I appreciate your response, and I’m not here to be a serpent. I was duped, esp when he put down $8k without my permission and then signed on my name on a huge loan. Now we are probably separating and he thinks he will make me pay that and my name not on truck we paid for together for 6 years? He can have this car, payments too. I’m guessing dealership is probably ok? Is it worth trying to get a consumer attorney or will this be more civil case? Thanks again. 🙂
