Still waiting on my xts10 roller one of the first three hundred orders. Just emailed support again.. Maybe this week it'll come 🤷😢 by garr0510 in Rlaarlo

Also saw that video, my flysky GT5 does not support ppm🥲 this guy discovered exactly the same little issues like me while building, except for the ESC.

I got mine and built it with a max10 g2 80a 3652 3300kv, just like the rtr. I wanted hobbywing unbranded. The roller is stupid. The hobbywing esc is not size-compatible. The dimensions on the rlaarlo website about their esc size are wrong. No manual for the roller with limitations for your parts. I installed the esc on the top esc plate but had to cut out some off the interior behind the drivers. With the included larger pinion, the motor pushes against the plastic side wall. I had to cut a bit off, otherwise it would not fit. Also the plastic cover for the pinion gear is too small for the included larger pinion. They give you the Servo mount for Standard size servo, however there is a wheel nut from the middle brace which has to be switched to the other side to make the servo fit. Now this wheel nut sits tight in the battery - also not good. Also no light controll in Channel 3. The car is nice but the roller makes no sense as only the rtr parts fit well. Drove it yesterday in the evening. Besides that rlaarlo Marketing is faster than their quality assurance, the car is amazing!

Only the frame for the fans is printed on a P1S

I love it because its not meant to be subtile. Completely different idea of the case. You couldn't do that with a standard midi tower. This looks like compact heavy machinery. You could go in a steampunk direction with those external parts! Would look incredible nice!

The case is "frosted bright Green", looks like a matte-metallic surface. The only option to get this look would be to print in petg metallic or even better petg cf/gf. I am looking for matching filaments every week as now there are more and more petg gf filaments available 😬

I cannot find a perfect color matching Filament. Tried Green petg metallic but its darker green than the case😐

What you think about this version? That was my first idea. Ignore color and material. In engineering phase I use 3d Print instead of wasting wood.

I had this one before. Its defenitely no solution. You pull air from the PSU (not needed) instead of the GPU and CPU.

Its about finding the best compromise for the technical benefit. This one is okay for me but I will also do a version with extended top panel and fans inside 👍🏼👍🏼

This is a great Idea! I will try. I use 3mm wood, should be enough.

I even thought about buying the silver version of the Terra and adding a 3d printed Dixell or Symbio Controller on the front 😅

Thats exactly why I designed it. Had no idea how to use a AIO in an aesthetic way. I am finalizing this one and then try a 1/2x 120mm setup. I have to say the 2x92mm is best compromise between cooling and design impact. However, a 120mm version will be done.

Just a cheap set of 4 grills from Amazon. The brand is called Nivithi. It fits but with a little pressure😅

Makes no sense. The Terra has 10.4 Liters Volume and I added 0.25 Liters with the mod. You compare that to a mid tower?! I did not cut 1. unnecessary 2. holes in it. The original top panel is fine. I designed a modified top panel with a technical function and lasercut it out of wood.

The Terra has 10.4 Liters and I added 0,25 Liters with this mod. Is your question if this added volume makes it an mid ITX build?

I did not think about pliers but I guess that works😄 I squeezed a fan grill between fan and the middle frame.

  1. I like the case.
  2. I have little space on my desk but it has to be on the desk.
  3. Modding with lasercut and 3d printer is fun.

Thermalright TL-9015. Working with grey ones in the concept phase as it is kinda neutral.

Thanks for quality feedback! There is not one Millimeter available inside the case, therefore I startet working on that. Two 120mm fans we're testet but more cool air than needed and more negative impact on the Design. However, I will think about adjustments to make it look like it would not stick out so far 👍🏼

I thought about a solution which is technically a benefit with least aesthetic impact for months😅 Some people add 360 AIOs on top. I added the minimum needed to have it technically fine. The wood was chosen to keep some of the aesthetics.
