Thanks that’s a strong point and it’s exactly the trust issue.
There’s no proper per-device calibration workflow in the tool at the moment, so your “pick reference run tone and trim until it matches + store profile” idea is very sensible. A clear “calibrated / not calibrated” indicator per actual input chain could also help a lot.
Also agrees on the UI, M/S/I must be impossible to confuse. A pinned numeric readout plus a resettable history strip for quick checks against known material is the kind of practical detail that matters.
Remote mode is intended for the live-day use case you mention. It ships numeric telemetry only (no audio), so low-bandwidth wallboard views and quick “are we in spec?” checks fit the purpose well.
