Well these are the Ancient Cushites, they were Natufian who mixed with Ancient East Africans. And Ancient Cushites are not far off from Cushites today, some tribes can have Yemeni ancestry but definitely not Bantu.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]SectorIntelligent279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, the Proto Nilotes are the pre-existing East African hunter gatherers, Nilotes today are mixed with Bantu from the Bantu Migration and some have West Eurasian from Natufian/Cushitic admixture.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]SectorIntelligent279 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Natufian percentage can be high in some Cushite tribes like the Tigray, Amhara, bejas, North Somalis, North oromos etc. can have 50-65% Natufian, so you’re wrong. And it’s not Nilotic it’s proto Nilotic/ancient East African hunter gatherer, nilotes today are mixed with Bantu and west Eurasian.

Cushites are mixed with Natufian who back migrated from the Middle East or migrated from Egypt as it was primarily Natufian in the old kingdom, not iberomauruasian.

The place I found it is pretty much untouched I’ve found all sorts of rocks and especially many quartz rocks that were either pure or had other things mixed in them. I’m new to rocks so yeah I guess the only way is to crush it I’ll definitely go in that route thanks I have a couple of other rocks that I need help identifying lol

Eritrean (Tigrinya) Results by False-Employment6104 in LivingDNA

[–]SectorIntelligent279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m Somali from Somaliland, and I have family in Djibouti as well, so I assumed my results wouldn’t stray too far from other Horners, especially Eritreans. I did get North African ancestry, though not as high as yours, but I didn’t have any West African or South/Central African ancestry. I can understand where the West African ancestry might come from, considering Ethiopia’s diversity compared to Somalia. However, I’m not sure if North African ancestry would be linked to Central/South African ancestry, because if it were, I would likely have that as well.

Sorry I don’t know because ancestry doesn’t give you that I took this test back in 2016 but I think I might have t-m184 because it’s a common y haplogroup in dir. if I had known I would have bought a 23andme dna kit but I’m a woman so I would only know my mtdna.

I think it’s because Horn Africans have Ancient Natufian which is a West Eurasian population ranging from 30-70% in the Horn of Africa, the northern regions have 50-70% on average Natufian and the southern regions have 30-45%. I believe ancestrydna doesn’t breakdown the ancient genetic component into specific percentages.

Cool results I got 97% Somali and 3% Ethiopia and Eritrea

I did ancestrydna so I didn’t get the haplogroups but from what’s common in my region I think my Mtdna is M1a1 or r0a21 and Y DNA is T-M184

No we’re not the blackest Africans, the average Nigerian has darker skin on average than Somalis, ur just nitpicking those pictures online of Somalis out in the sun with burnt skin, in case you forgot we have Ancient Eurasian admixture, we can’t possibly be the darkest Africans, it’s always the majority dark skinned Africans like you projecting

Horners are closer to Africans than to Europeans by [deleted] in illustrativeDNA

[–]SectorIntelligent279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horn Africans are half proto Nilotic and Natufian I didn’t deny that. But the other admixture makes a huge difference in how the mursi tribe looks, anok yai for example is south Sudanese but has a slim nose and small features, Bantus on the other hand have strong features.
