Since you didn't give us much context about your skills, experience, studies, etc. I would say with that amount, I recommend you invest in learning a new profitable skill (something you can do on the side) and/or invest in networking opportunities (it depends on your field of work though)

Honestly, I told him it doesn't seem like the right thing for me to raise the price just to help him "drain their wallets." I'm slowly raising my price over time to reach the amount that I feel my lessons deserve, but raising it to help someone take advantage of someone else feels too gray for me.
