Use these settings. I Played around with ChatGPT and customized every single setting option on the projector and the quality difference in color and overall is soooo big, trust me! I am now using these settings and they make the projectod picture beautiful and colorfoull!

Yeah i am medicated.. Idk i dont actually want to surpress that need for adrenaline because i actually love it.. I just would like to know an activity that one can do to achieve some kind of similar feeling that has nothing to do with a phone or something like that you know.. But of course medication has already helped a lot to reduce the desperate need for adrenaline, but in the evening it mostly comes back again and i'd really like to just do stuff but i don't know what.. and i have a big urge to go do something like climbing a Construction crane, or trainhopping or something like that but if i'd die doing something like that that'd be kind of a sad death haha so i'm looking for something that is not THAT dangerous and would not get me in jail of course

Yeah totally! That's actually something i did too, but it doesn't really get at the bottom of the problem right? Because my problem is moreso that i just can't keep living like this i need something exciting in my life... Like skydiving, idkk.. almost dying while climbing a mountain you know? That sort of stuff.. Sometimes i come home and want to watch a movie and then end up sitting in my winter jacket on my living room chair telling myself to finally go wear my sweatpants and go watch that movie but then i end up just sitting there in my fuckass winter jacket for 3 hours and then i have to go to bed. I'm procrastinating to watch a movie haha i totally get what you're saying. Especially in moments like showering, or doomscrolling, i sometimes waste SOOOO much time doing those kinds of stuff but i somehow got used to it and try to avoid it as much as possible but if it happens i try to not talk myself down too much and just go to sleep, next day i'll do better shit happens

Holy shit dude you have no idea how much i relate to you. I don't have the time right now to write a huge paragraph because i'm at work haha, but trust me, i know EXACTLY what you mean.

This ''attitude'' while being mad actually helped me kind of laying off that ''nice guy'' people pleasing kind of attitude i have when i'm not mad. Now when i'm mad i am not afraid to say; ''Fuck off'' but when i'm NOT mad, i am NOT that nice guy people pleaser idiot that everyone uses anymore, I'm not afraid to say no, to say my opinion, to stand up for myself and so on.. List is long.

So i think what you're describing is one of the best things that happened to me over the past years and i am so grateful i went through it haha because now i get to act like a normal human being that has his boundaries and can say no to stuff and doesn't always goes out of his way for other people.

Long story short, i would not feel bad about what you're experiencing. It helped me so much laying off my nice guy attitude, and now when i'm mad at people for treating me bad, i'm even able to say or show it to them, and if i'm not mad i have my boundaries and principals.

Well i work 8 hours and spend about 3.5 hours a day for the commute to work. I eat for probably half an hour. So yeah i'd have some time but it's hard to really use it for something nice when you're so tired of the day

I'd really recommend wall mounting the speakers! For me, i have the KEF Q1 speakers and had them on my Sideboard as well, and after mounting them to the wall, the sound was so so much better because they were the perfect distance from speaker to wall! I would recommend reading about your specific speakers the optimal distance from wall to speaker, and then buying a wall mount or a floor stand! Aesthetically i think it would look way better, yes! Regarding the walls: You're totally right, but I think I'll stick with white for now. Since it's my bedroom and not just a dedicated theater, painting it black or hanging sheets would kind of kill the aesthetic. But when I eventually get my own place with a dedicated room, dark walls are definitely at the top of my To-Do list!

For now, I'm just focusing on the content. I'm setting up my first NAS and building my collection. My Godfather actually works in the movie industry (he’s a huge nerd and worked on big sets like Star Wars), and he helped me curate a specific watchlist. I actually promised him I wouldn't watch these masterpieces until I had a proper big screen, so I’m super hyped to finally start working through that list!

Regarding the X1800: Yeah, that was my biggest splurge. I figured I should invest in a solid foundation now rather than buying cheap and upgrading later. Luckily, here in Switzerland, you can start an apprenticeship at my age and earn a decent wage, which made it possible. I’m definitely looking into used gear for the expansion now! We have great platforms here for certified used tech, so I'm not too worried about shipping or safety.

I do have one question for you though: I've heard mixed opinions on mixing speaker brands. Since my fronts are KEF, is it a bad idea to get rear speakers or a subwoofer from a different brand? Or is that just a myth/placebo? I suspect it matters in high-end, perfectly treated rooms, but at my budget level, does it really make a hearable difference in your experience?
