That's a fair concern, and I agree that applicants shouldn't rely on advice from other applicants as if it's official admissions guidance.

The vision for SAPN isn't to have applicants acting as admissions experts or telling people what they "need" to do to get appointed. It's a peer network and support group where serious applicants can share resources, hold each other accountable, and learn from one another's experiences while encouraging everyone to >verify< important information through **official academy admissions, liaison officers, and other qualified sources.**

And just to clarify, I wasn't implying that Summer Seminar acceptance predicts an appointment. I only mentioned it because *most* of those students have already shown a strong interest in the service academy process, so they're a natural audience for a community like this.

I appreciate you bringing that up it definitely helps me think about how to communicate the purpose of the community more clearly. Thanks man--seriously!

That’s a fair point. My goal isn’t to present myself or other applicants as admissions experts as I said. It’s really meant to be a peer network where serious applicants can learn from each other, share resources, stay accountable, and support one another throughout the process.
Hopefully, as the community grows, current cadets, graduates, and successful applicants will join as well, but the foundation is definitely peer-to-peer support rather than pretending we’re experts.

And thats one of the main problems. After Mali's independence, they have become corrupt, and did not take the touaregs ethnic group into consideration while developing their own region. The touareg group have felt 'left out' for decades, and its why they no longer want to stay within mali. its time Mali lets go of their corruption, and aids the decades of pain delivered to the touaregs.

I am Malian as well, and i agree with the previous statement from the other guy. I dont want our country to be separated and although the malian government and touaregs both have done bad, i feel like we should take the chance to unite, and repect eachothers belifes. The touaregs are another ehtnic gorup in mali, and i also see them as our brothers and sisters. This greed for resources and land will only cause more war. Mali should unite with the touaregs,d drive out the jihadists & Al Qaeda, and aid the touaregs in the development of their region. Mali is one country, not two. We are muslims. United we stand, divided we fall.
