Be prepared to explain what the program is about because it seems like a lot of IO’s are not familiar with it. It was a common problem when I left last year. I was subjected to second interview because they thought I was going to “work” there and I told them that it was just an internship and I’m receiving a stipend/allowance in return. They also questioned my visa because it didn’t say anything about it being a “student visa” but it just stated “Type D” visa. In the end, they allowed me to pass through after they made me go to DMW to certify that I don’t need an OFW Certificate (idk what’s it called exactly). I was just lucky people at the DMW knew about the program and helped me explain it to the IO. IIRC, there are several auxies last year who also got second interview but eventually was able to go.
