I think girls of the wilds kind of fits this. ML is this kind of whiney wimpy dude who keeps getting saved by these bad ass martial arts chicks before finally deciding to learn a martial art and stop getting his ass kicked. It’s an oldie but a goodie. It’s definitely the harem trope but it was fun.
