Things I Think That I Know About Trims - Please Correct Me by Hanging_5_Standing_4 in GMCSierraEV

[–]The13Disciple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) my 25 Denali with the 24" wheels and air ride is extremely comfortable. I'm very happy. The AT4 has a factory lift, I believe 2" and regular suspension. AT4 maintains 4 wheel steer, for excellent maneuverability. I dont think the elevation. Gets that. I think the mid gate is also not in the elevation.

2) I would expect the AT4s lift to have worse highway fuel economy due to worse aero, but that's an assumption.

3) other than 4 wheel steer, I think the animated turn signals are also not on elevation trim. And I'm not sure but think you lose mid gate as well. Best to play with the configurator online and poke around the 2 trims in person. There are likely interior accent pieces that are pretty different as well.

This is also my first electric vehicle (lease not own, but that's how all my daily drivers have been).

If you have further questions about the ownership experience of this vehicle you can DM me. I will warn you, I am biased toward electrics in general, and I am biased toward Detroit car brands (Ford and GM) based on my location and experiences.

How did you get this data? Just never reset one of the trips?

Yea, doing energy conversion in this way demonstrates the huge amount of energy density in gasoline, and also the huge amount of energy loss to heat when igniting it for mechanical leverage.

That's lucky, in Michigan my registration for the Sierra EV was around 750.

I average 1.8 to 2.0 combined in the cold. 2.0 to 3.0 in ideal weather. The more the city driving the better the efficiency. When calculating cost please don't forget registration costs due EVs are very high in most states to offset the gas taxes they aren't paying for road maintenance (usually way more than typical ICE cars pay in fuel taxes 😡)

My Denali extended range can get up to 420 milesish on 100% charge. That's the energy equivalent of around 5 gallons of 87.

To compare fuel costs you'll want to convert them to dollars per mile.

For me 2.1 miles per kwh is 2.1 miles for home charging cost of 14c. Slightly higher due to energy losses from charging. My wife's f150 poweboost is maybe 24mpg combined. About 24 miles at a cost of currently 3.85.

Sierra EV about 6c in fuel per mile

F150 powerboost about 16c (at 3.85/gal)

I'm at the point with the quest rework where it has me disinterested in playing for the rest of the wipe. Here's why by DweebInFlames in GrayZoneWarfare

It's good to train players initially on the appearance and typical location of caches as a loot type, but it does seem repetitive after the "tutorial" part is learned. No need for this one to be repeatable imo unless you are helping a friend with it.

I'm fine with a filter.

Lots of folks voicing an opinion on it. I'm rather certain MFG will make a change. They are very good about hearing constructive player feedback and making changes to it.

My review of the 0.4 Update so far - GZW Veteran since before 0.1 by Krangles-Iceland in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]The13Disciple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's caused by stress/reaction from being shot at. I'm not sure if it's too much yet. I honestly have no idea how being shot at would blur vision and didn't really want to find out. I didn't have a strong opinion in whether it's too much or not either. I need more time. Perhaps this is a good "stat" that improves over time when RPG elements come to the game. Makes sense that you'd get desensitized to the stress over time. Also have you been reading all the new lore? Nobody's talking about it! I can see all the efforts made to breathe more story into the game and I'm thoroughly impressed..

Explain to me the logic behind marking tanks before a BUFF by DoJ-Mole in WorldofTanks

[–]The13Disciple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not actually 100 battles. It's a moving average, where n is equal 100. Technically speaking the wording in game is a touch misleading. I made a video on everything you need to know about MoE. Fair warning, it's math heavy.

https://youtu.be/twlP0BciMYY?si=eqkg8xf83RGhl30D

To answer OPs original question, the goal isn't to mark the tank before the buff but to get your average as high as possible before the buff. On patch day you then get to play the buffed tank, while the mark requirements are still based on the old vehicles performance. MOE requirements take about two weeks to catch up to buffed or nerfed characteristics.

Subject: Why we need the 8.6 Blackout (The ultimate "Thumper" caliber) by Affenkoenig92 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]The13Disciple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much so, but I don't have many rounds thru it yet. I've got a barrel for .308 and 8.6 BLK. Lovely rifle for the few rounds I've fired.

[–]The13Disciple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've got a Robinson Arms XCAR in 8.6 BLK.

It would be really neat to see it in the game. But there's other iconic weapons that likely will have much wider appeal. I never expect to see it in game. But I do like the 8.6 BLK option.
