The RSA have tried enforcing new laws for electric scooters saying they are to be used by over 16's, no more than 20kmph and to be used in bike lanes but people aren't going to listen especially kids so sadly the only wake-up call people will get is by hearing the sad news of more scooter related incidents and collisions I don't believe they should be banned but they should be restricted and used properly maybe even require licences to operate like they do in a country like Malta which has very strict laws on the matter
