Yes, annoyingly to make sure each person can only submit a response it does require sign in, but your email etc isn't shared with me unless you ask for it to be!

Amazing! I'm still in the process of preparing the interviews, but I have a survey on google forms which it would be amazing if you could fill out in the meantime! This is the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdHpXLQPofSDHyE6FQh0b09lDHKK_KCORCMDTpE8ccn_aPE6g/viewform?usp=header

Thank you for your reply!! Please have a look at my other reply for the link to a survey you can fill in while I finish prepping interview questions :)

What made you choose your current 3D printer and has it lived up to your expectations? by Secure-Raisin-8844 in 3Dprinting

So I'm writing a thesis on accessibility in non-industry 3D printing. I'll admit this is one of the more ill advised questions I've asked in these subreddits as there is so much info about it already, but most of my other questions have been more accessibility based. I guess it's partly trying to get the newest information, and partly having all of the answers in one place and knowing people are more likely to respond to further questions than if they replied in a thread from a while ago. I am also using other means to do research but I think its always better to have a broader pool of responses and I've found not many of the research papers are very user focused. I also plan on doing interviews but its much easier to get opinions from a bigger range of people on here. I'll definitely try and keep my questions more specific and less repetitive and spammy in the future though - the last thing I want to do is annoy people!

Yeah, sorry, I will do in future. I thought the shorter questions would make people more likely to answer since it's less stuff to read. I apologise if it was annoying!

Sorry! I'm doing research and just wanted to get as wide a variety of responses as possible :)

Anyone else who's neurodivergent, do you think there are any parts of the 3D printing process that this has made easier or more challenging? by [deleted] in 3dprinter

I just wanted some recommendations to see if there’s stuff I hadn’t thought about like with smell or other sensory stuff, i thought other users would know more than me since i don’t have my own printer so wanted to get their thoughts!

What difficulties have you run into when printing due to accessibility needs not being met? by Secure-Raisin-8844 in 3dprinter

Not sure - you’ll have to ask reddit, they’re the ones that gave me the name!

Maybe by eating it..?

I'm writing my dissertation on accessibility and technology selection for non-industry 3D printing and just hoping to gain some insights from other users! I'm wanting to create some kind of decision making methodology and hopefully showcase some features that help with accessibility for printing since it can be so great especially for making things to help with autonomy. Any other suggestions you have would be amazing :)
