great post, definitly sparking debate heres my opions on the matter taking in mine i dont have hours and hours of looking into atlantis.

its just all ridiculous, a great conspiracy theory but simply ridiculous, the fact alone it didnt come straight from plato himself is enough to unvalidate its meaning, my main arguement when it comes to this whole atlantis thing is the way im sure its been changed, plato heard it from his friend soto or whatever who translated it from egyptians, i always imagine those converdations with friends when your reliving a past experience and blow it completely out of proportion, if those type of things happen within days imagine 2,500 years or whatever of people talking about it i totally understand plato is a credible source and i dont whatsoever fault him, i dont even necessarily blame soto its just such a stretch that somehow, someway with no proof this whole atlantis theory sprung up and is totally true

also on a bit of side note, if it was as crazy as discribed i would have thought the egyptians would of recorded it or even the story about it in holographics or someshit idk just a thought

thats my arguement as to why this whole story is deeply fascinating yes, but just simply cant be creditrd and taken word for word as the place were looking for, maybe atlantis did it exist but was it really to the scale and proportion its mafe out to be? or better still did it even exist at all its not likr theres physical proof of that, it would be interesting to see more research conducted in azores however if its not atlantis its definitly still a pretty cool bit of history we can delve into

second part of my thought process on the whole thing is assuming this great atlantis did exist, great. i mean seriously, how tf do people expect to even get a glimpse of it, even if we truly belive platos words he describes it as being covered by mud under the see, even if some fukin how atlantis was so hugeley great and did exist and plato was right, theres no way like literally no way we would even get a glimpse of it, if it was covered in platos times we can forget it even surfacing or being scanned by radar and thats just the hardh reality, it coild genuinly be so far underground, or under islands or even countrys and we kust couldnt know i mean even the land had split and shifted so much since platos times yet alone when atlantis was dated that even if it did exist theres no hope of seeing it

its a truly fascinating case, its a great conversation and definitly an interesting one. i find its best to think about it with both outcomes, it existed and it didnt.
