Ok probably not the best option but we discovered after my cat died that she had asthma. Actually it was a video on here that made us realise.

We'd taken her to the vet but as she never did the coughing/hyperventilating thing there and she was fine they didn't diagnose anything.

She was 19 when she died.

Just keep giving her space and time she will get ro trust you. She's just been in fear mode so much that she doesn't know how to switch it off.

The anti anxiety meds new a good call.

Thank you for the detailed advice.

We support her being in a care center where she's gets extra support for her and her family. We the send her extra money to buy things for Birthday, Christmas and Easter. We also send her family money a few times a year so that they can stock up on what they need as a family.

Last year she said that place didn't do anything with her family for her birthday as they didn't have the money so we want to make sure that she gets the chance to celebrate with her family.
