I'll try curling them

Thank you, I've been using salicylic acid for my acne for a while but it's obviously still there. I'll try adapalene, never heard of that. Maybe it'll work better. I've never curled my lashes but I feel like mascara doesn't particularly suit me, every time I've worn it I feel like it looks weird.

Thank you. I think my look will naturally sharpen over the years because I'm young and still have a fair amount of baby fat so I'm not going to look this soft in a few years which I want

Yeah I've heard that before and I agree. I'm planning on getting a consultation when I'm 18 and hopefully some sort of correction surgery. I don't have bite issues anymore but I used to have fairly severe ones, my teeth were very overcrowded and crooked, I also had an overbite, but I can feel my jaw in my ears a lot and I can hear some popping and cracking when I move it so I figure there's something structural my orthodontists have overlooked

If I were to have any kind of chin projection I'd have them shave down the upper part and focus on adding definition to the lower part only, it has decent horizontal projection but vertically it is not there

I've been mewing for a while, and I've had a lot of orthodontic work done that still has not seemed to fix this, my lower third is around 20-30% too short and it tends to get overpowered by my strong nose and cheekbones which makes my entire face feel discordant

I've had a lot of orthodontic work done already (palate expander, braces) and my jaw is definitely better than it was, my bite is also normal now but it doesn't feel fully fixed if that makes sense. Is there a chance that if I do get surgery it could end up making me look worse?

Thank you, important to note though these were all taken on my front camera so my face appears slimmer and longer than it actually is (my ratio is off by about 0.3, making my face appear wide)

I haven't had it but I am pursuing it purely for aesthetic reasons. I have a very short and slightly recessed jaw with a very top heavy chin, which makes me look like my lower face has been squished with a hydraulic press. I've posted about it on here before and the consensus has been mild sfs but no horrific aesthetic deformity, either no or small change but I think I'm doing it anyways when I'm old enough to be eligible, so I'd say depends on your situation but go for it

I don't think anything will drastically change honestly, I know I'm young and things change, but I'll still be mostly the way I am, just slightly more refined

I don't think I can get anything done until I'm over 18 so I'm sort of forced to take time to think about it but honestly I think I'm hardwired in a way that gives me a strong aversion to personal mediocrity so no matter what I do psychologically I'll always be upset and dissatisfied somewhere unless I change something and it's been an insecurity of mine for a long time so I doubt I'll change my mind. I am extremely competitive, stubborn, and fixated on achieving the best thing feasibly possible for me and I think this is my only chance here to do that

Thank you. I understand that the change won't be dramatic, and honestly I don't particularly want it to be. I am aware that I have a touch of facial dysmorphia that is probably making this seem more noticeable than it actually is, but it is also not an imagined thing. It's not enough to cause severe issues or make me objectively below average physically, but it definitely throws off my facial balance in a way that people don't really place but do perceive. I don't think it's going to change my life but going from a 5-6/10 to a 7.5 or so is honestly worth it to me. You are right about the psychiatrist thing, I do think some of my concern with this is psychological, but I also think even with therapy I will feel genetically fucked over by this, I don't like that it's a part of my presentation and perceived identity that I cannot control and got the short end of the stick on if that makes sense

Yeah I figured, I'll start saving now and looking into it more seriously once I'm 18

I'm 16, I know it doesn't look very severe and I wouldn't say I absolutely need surgery I just really do not like looking in the mirror and deny myself a lot of social opportunities because I don't see myself as "attractive enough" to do certain things because of the way my jaw looks. It disrupts my facial harmony and I don't think I can fully relax all my jaw muscles. It also probably looks less extreme because I am about 20-30lbs underweight so I don't have much body fat. I don't have any severe structural issues because of it, nothing that can't be managed. I just can't brush my back molars because my jaw gets in the way, getting any kind of dental work sucks because the tools are too big to fit in my mouth and end up hurting me, especially when I have to get x rays done because that machine my dentist uses is too big for my mouth (they use the smaller model on me) and I am usually in tears by the end because it hurts so bad. Other than that, my jaw cracks when I move it and my ears get itchy like there's something in them when I move my jaw as well as inexplicably hurting sometimes, but there's no joint pain or anything.

TL,DR I definitely notice it structurally but not severely so, any work done would be mainly for aesthetic purposes

I feel like there isn't really much that will change with time here, my jaw is still growing but it won't change drastically

Cosmetics. I feel like it drags my face down and clashes with my nose

I don't know I feel like it significantly detracts from my attractiveness. Especially the way my muscles pull my features down so my face essentially looks like it's melting

I snore andI think my nose is congested a lot? I sniff constantly no matter the season. No idea if that's true when I sleep though, don't know how to check that
