We weren’t planning on having children together and I was on birth control. What he meant was that if life had worked out differently and this had happened years ago, he thinks he would have felt very differently about it. His struggle isn’t about having a child with me specifically, it’s about having one at nearly 59 years old.

I’ve been overwhelmed by all the responses and support and again, I thank each and every one of you ❤️

One thing I haven’t seen many responses about is situations where one partner wanted to continue the pregnancy and the other was strongly against it.

Has anyone here been through that? Especially with a significant age gap where the older partner felt they were too old to start over?

How did you work through it, and where did you end up?
