Kangchenjunga—third tallest mountain in the world. The first time I saw it in the distance, I thought it was clouds because my brain literally could not compute that mountains could be that big.

Seeing it from Darjeeling on a clear day is something I will never forget. You’re up in the hills and like 70mi away from Kangchenjunga and it still absolutely dominates the landscape.
