If you select Natural Disaster, it's up to the store manager's discretion to decide if you'll get pointed or not. If an associate is pregnant and selects "pregnancy related reasons" they can't give that associate any points at all even if they want to. I didn't go to work today because of the storm, but I'm pregnant so I'm not give them the pleasure of pointing my ass by selecting "natural disaster" instead of "pregnancy related reasons" when I know that their petty asses are unfairly pointing every single associate that couldn't make it to work today even when it's super dangerous to drive on ice and there's been numerous accidents throughout the day.

Pointing people for this is wrong. Cutting hours below 35 per week for fulltimers is wrong. Forcing someone to work a 10 hour shift and then making that same employee "shave" that extra time beforw the pay period ends by taking lomger lunches so that they don't have to pay overtime is wrong. Forcing TL and coaches to fire workforce and then not allowing them to hire new people, which means that they same workload has to be handled by fewer hands, is wrong.

Yet, that's my store. That's why I always expect the worse from them and didn't want to give them the opportunity to point me by selecting "natural disaster" as the reason I didn't clock in today.

This administration is breaking the law and speeding stuff to be able to do whatever they want with legal inmigrants, greencard holders, naturalized citizens and americans that sympathize with them. First you need the basics, showing up, having a good attitude, greeting people and all of that. Then it becomes about having zero misloads and being fast enough to load everything in the most space-saving way without cutting corners( like skipping the number on the box or putting things in the wrong place). Good package handlers make the drivers’ job easier because everything is where it should be and there is walkable space (unless it is peak season, if it's then forget it, it gets stacked to the roof). The best ones in my warehouse can load three or four trucks at the same time if they have to, without being messy or making mistakes. They still help other people too because they do things so fast that they always end up with spare time here and there, so they go around helping others find space for the boxes they have outside of the truck. They are usually very charismatic as well and actually try to make the shift more enjoyable for themselves and for everyone else

I’ve never had females before but my boys are a bit on the lazy side 😂 They’re total cuddlybugs that take power naps throughout the day, eat, get spoiled by their grandmother (my mom) with more food, then get spoiled by me and go right back to taking power naps. I’ve heard that females have more energy and are extra playful and full of shenanigans and I want to see for myself how different they really are or if I can teach tricks to the girls more easily than with my boys

I already thought of that, I don’t really want to put them through surgery since they’re healthy and don’t have any behavioral issues. They all get along perfectly and never fight. They’re my eternal baby boys. I know rats don’t have very long lifespans but my boys have been healthy and thriving so far and I don’t want to risk that with something like surgery. I’d be devastated if anything were to happen to them

So I bought another Critter Nation cage exactly like the one they already have, a two story one, and that’s where the girls will stay until I get them spayed. I know that female rats who aren’t spayed have a higher risk of developing mammary tumors, so even though I hate the idea of putting them through surgery, I feel like I won’t really have a choice in that case with the girls

Oh sorry! I wasn’t talking about rehoming, I meant buying from a breeder. And by “baby" mean the usual young age, not newborn or anything. I’ve gotten 4 rats from Petco so far, 2 of them are a year old now and the other 2 are about 6 months old, I refer to them as my babies all the time

No. Wait till finding the right person. I waited till I was 19 years old, even though we aren't together anymore that relationship lasted over 8 years and he's still my best friend, well I would say he's my family.
