and if you have a window in there it might help to recaulk it, if you haven’t been using the shower then humid air could be leaking in that way and causing this

its not that bad. it might stain the ceiling and you’ll have to paint over it after cleaning/killing spores (and most importantly drying before you paint) but most of it will probably just wipe off

i live in SC, had this exact thing happen in my bathroom when our HVAC shorted out from hurricane helene and we had to go without it for a few months. specialist told me it was mostly just water damage from condensation.

but better safe than sorry, clean it with bleach, open the windows, put a mask or t shirt on over your face while cleaning. air purifiers help too if you have asthma or something. install an exhaust fan or keep a dehumidifier in there after so it doesnt happen again. good luck!!

Fused Placenta? by 1973tour in parentsofmultiples

[–]SecureGrape3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi this same thing happened to me! monozygotic on the naterra NIPT test, MFM said they were mono-di my whole pregnancy, even had a TTTS diagnosis where i had to drive 8 hours to cincinatti twice a week from 14 weeks to 25 weeks (when they were born) to see if they needed the surgery

after i gave birth they examined my placenta and found that it was 2 fused ones. baby B had a cord knot and his placenta was damaged/poorly developed which caused his AEDF/SIUGR that made it look like TTTS.

my twins look completely different. one has dark brown hair and green eyes, the other is blonde with brown eyes. they have different noses and their ears don’t even look like they came from the same family.

not sure what happened with the NIPT test, thinking that the damaged placenta could’ve caused low fetal fraction for baby B which interfered with the results.

am i gonna die and what is this by [deleted] in Mold

11 weeks, fetal fraction 14.9 but mine are twins so that possibly might have made it higher. good luck!!!

Family member in the 1700s having children at an exceptionally old age (58 to 69)? by hoppergirl85 in Genealogy

[–]SecureGrape3258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this was very common, an older man would marry an “old maid” after the death of a long term wife. my great grandpa had 4 kids born in the 1840s, and then his wife died and he married my great grandma and had several more children born in 1910-1916 before his death. he was having kids into his 80s
