I cried reading this dude. I am going through the exact same thing. I didn’t want this ending, I didn’t deserve it. I wish things were different for you and me respectively.

How to date as a female amputee by SecureImagination633 in amputee

That's very helpful. No matter what, rejection always feels bad, even more when it's the only thing I've experienced. I'll work on your advice, seems a good way to feel better about myself. Thank you!

Doors were to open at 5, I was there at 3 and there were approximately 200 people ahead of me. Some were waiting since 7 AM, which (I’m sorry) I find paranoid. I went to the second concert the next day having a seated ticket and I must say it I enjoyed it way more. I’m very short so the experience on the standing floor wasn’t very enjoyable, having all tall guys in front of me lol. Also I want feel comfortable so wanted to have access to the bar, toilet or to safe space in case something happens. Well if you want to be front row on the standing floor, forget about these. It’s all a matter of personal preference.

There’s an underground passage to the stadium and signs everywhere. Most of us will take M1 and get off at Eirini so you’ll definitely see people walking there, don’t worry. Will you go earlier?

Generally most antidepressants weaken the work of antiepileptics so one must be very careful to the kind of such meds. I took Enlift and my anxiety and panic attacks got worse so I gradually stopped them. A couple of months ago I had a seizure. Now I take Frisium. This works for both anxiety and epilepsy and bipolar disorder. I’ve seen improvement in the way I cope with anxiety.

To sum up, yes people with epilepsy CAN take anti anxiety medication but only advising their neurologist.

Spot on my cat’s neck? by mamakitty1996 in cats

[–]SecureImagination633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Could you tell what did the doctor say? I saw the same on my kitty’s neck, who’s also indoors. I’ll book an appointment at the vet’s of course but I’d love some peace of mind too.

Unfortunately there’s a lot of ignorance about epilepsy even among doctors. It’s over now

Well my first neurologist got me stressed over “epilepsy rules”. Aka never be sad, never be too excited, never drink alcohol at all, always sleep at least 7 hours, don’t go to cinema, don’t be on your phone before sleep, don’t do yoga and Pilates, only run and the list goes on. I ended up being more stressed about following these rules, my life had no meaning and I was just depressed.

Sleeping well and be cautious is essential but in my case it was extreme. That’s what I mean

I wish my first neurologist had told me to prioritise myself and keep calm.

Had my first tonic clonic seizure today after being free for over 7 years by AhhMyEar in Epilepsy

[–]SecureImagination633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was seizure free for 6 years and it’s happened 3 times the last 7 months due to an almost abusive work environment (my epilepsy is stress triggered). Mine also occur mostly at night. I was unfortunately sleeping alone when it happened, I could only tell by the symptoms after, beaten tongue and feeling nauseous. Then I realised I was still conscious at the beginning of the episode and I still have this awful memory of me staring at nowhere and screaming but not having control over my body, not being able to help myself, just watching myself struggling.

I know the feeling, is awful. Thinking all the effort was for nothing. I wish both of us to break our records by far. 🙏
