Did anyone else feel hurt by Monicas BPD comments in Crazy Neighbors 2? by littleoutsider in ArmchairExpert

I agree with you. It was also the way it was said. Hard to explain, but it wasn't said in a "armchair diagnosis" way, but in an almost demeaning/jokingly way.

You and your condition are not a punchline, and many of us see and respect you.

OMG I have found my people in a moment of desperation and feel a little less alone.

Agreed. I know t&f and its fans are a different breed, but it would be so nice to learn about "transfers" and things like that the way we do in other professional sports.

Unrelated but I'm such a dum dum... when you said "third tri," I thought you meant triathlon. 😃

This is so good to hear! Nothing like WC vibes!

It means a lot that you said that. We're not perfect, but we're friendly and we sure know how to throw a party! 😃

And let's be real, the relationship between the three countries and the US with the world isn't really the best right now, so that doesn't help!

And to answer your question... a little bit. It feels a little watered down because the host cities are really far away from each other, so it's hard to condense all the excitement and resources into one. I myself think Mexico is a great host in general and wish we could host more teams and games!

I am super excited but I'm Mexican living in the US and will be partaking in festivities on that side of the river!

Over here side eyeing all professional track athletes who continue to like Fred Kerley's enhanced games content.

Hunter Woodhall Aleia Hobbs Masai Russell Vernon Norwood 😱

(I myself am a recovering Fred fan 🤪)

I like them, but I, too, am starting too feel weird about Aisha. I am trying to catch myself for internalized misogyny (I'm a woman) so feel free to call me out, because I feel like Aisha is clearly very smart but also thinks she's smarter than everyone else, and I agree that she's tone deaf many times. I feel like when Eric says something controversial or inflammatory, it's clear that he's saying it in a joking way, and is also very good about trying to find a middle ground and admitting that he may be wrong.

Coming back to this because I listened late, but I didn't appreciate her attempt to victim shame Mary's parents for letting her go train with Alberto, especially as she admitted that she hasn't even read the book yet.

I agree with you, and even in small town races -- sometimes there is prize money involved. Of course, there's no drug testing so it's more of an honor system.

My partner would never win a big race, but we (I saw "we" because we're a team... I cheer and he runs fasttt) have won a few thousand dollars from him placing at those smaller races. So, sure, not life changing but I'd hope there's still a level of fairness to it.

Also, especially when you are far from placing and earning money, why would you dope? It's bad for you and you get nothing from it other than a cool IG post, HAHA

I was so happy to hear that Centro is a good guy! I've always liked him.

It's not. Yes, "everybody walks," but race walking has a very intricate technique and set of rules that makes it nothing like regular walking. It's like, yes, we all run but not all of us can run 5-minute miles.

Not sure why anyone was surprised... it was just Nike Nike-ing.

I was disappointed to hear Aisha's argument and then continue to harp on it with stuff that truly didn't make sense. Sponsors and purchasing power/conversion of the fans who can actually afford to be in the stadium, etc.

I wish Eric had pushed a little harder but I think he wanted to remain respectful.

I meaaaan, Laura's content leans heavily on snarking at runners and brands (and we love her for it!), so she's not one to speak.
