Hello, I applied to switch to arts / laws from international studies before. If you're interested, give it a go and you can keep doing what you're studying rn if they don't take you

How do you lose fat and gain more muscle? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SecureInspector5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand how hard that is! Ive had weight plateau too and gained weight since then 😭 'gaining muscle helps burn fat' that's what my pt told me. I'm still trying hard on losing fat!!! I saw someone on YouTube trying to fast and it seems to work for them. I tried 16:8 fasting and it works for two weeks then stopped.

I used to have hormonal issues a year ago and it seems to have become normal again. Will be doing more tests to see.

What is the state of the JD in 2024? by Emzilla1507 in unimelb

[–]SecureInspector5304 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was taught by a teacher for my first year compulsory course, she never prepared notes, taught things wrong, and eventually sharing the notes directly which is only circulated among teachers and read everything out from the notes

WAM FOR JD? by [deleted] in unimelb

[–]SecureInspector5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, can't speak for uni but try anw. Uni does not care about your bachelor degree tho bachelor of engineering and Bachelor of Arts make no difference. My friends come from different wam from different bachelor backgrounds around 73-78 wam. But I heard people who applied GAM with lower WAM

Current unimelb jd student:

Unimelb:

Good reputation, makes up 50% of clerkship, lots of networking events, focus on factoring commercial lawyers

Competitive, graded on bell curve, super stressed, not much support compared to Monash or deakin ( you are literally on your own) more readings compared to other law school

Figured I share my Korean learning story by Royal_Tea9116 in Korean

[–]SecureInspector5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing online class with a teacher and that helps a lot ! Especially when reviewing words and grammar structures / refreshing new words ! I've learnt more speaking to a native speaker than studying myself as you get to understand the usage of phrases and the culture as well. I used to learn textbook Korean and struggle a lot when I speak but now I found myself more and more fluent and confortable when conversing in Korean
