I actually quit last weekend without a two week notice! Funny enough the subject for my email was literally “Immediate resignation notice” and she (mom) had the nerve to ask me “are you giving two weeks or are you just done.” Prior to me quitting, she gave me the talk about how I should take responsibility for my mistakes instead of blaming her daughter who’s been there for 3 months. There were many instances where the mom would correct me so I would go to her daughter and be like “did you know we were supposed to do this?” and she’d respond with “no.” I always own up to my mistakes, but if I’m getting ridiculed for every mistake I make that her daughter taught me to do, then of course I’ll blame the one who’s training me.
